Privileged to be present to see our oldest grand daughter graduate. Her hard work, devotion and determination turned into success. We should never be afraid to succeed. Job 8:8 — 10, “Please inquire of past generations and consider the discoveries of their fathers. For we were born yesterday and know nothing; our days on earth are but a shadow. Will they not teach you and tell you, and speak from their understanding?
WORD FOR TODAY “BOASTING”: Jer 9:22 Here is what YEHOVAH says: "The wise man should not boast of his wisdom, the powerful should not boast of his power, the wealthy should not boast of his wealth; Jer 9:23 instead, let the boaster boast about this: that he understands and knows me—that I am YEHOVAH, practicing grace, justice and righteousness in the land; for in these things I take pleasure," says YEHOVAH.
VERSE FOR TODAY: Psa 40:4 How blessed is the man who has made the LORD his trust, And has not turned to the proud, nor to those who lapse into falsehood.

Shalom aleichem! Silver Trumpet Ministries will once again be gathering this coming Shabbat (saturday) at the residence of Hein & Gerda Zentgraf in Henley on Klip from 09:30. This week we will study parashat b’midbar (in the wilderness), the first section from the fourth book, Numbers. Please note that the study is mainly in Afrikaans, but we are also fully conversant in the English vernacular. Prepare from Torah: B’midbar (Numbers) 1:1 to 4:20, Hoshea (Hosea) 2:1-11 and Revelation 7:1-17; you are welcome to bring your questions to the table for discussion.
For people outside the Vaal Triangle, we offer a remote gathering via the Jitsi platform, a free application that works on computers and smartphones. We send the link out at 09:30 via our Telegram group, YAH's Festivals, or on request. Coffee and tea will be supplied and every family is welcome to contribute something light to eat. We request, however, that special diets, such as gluten intolerance and diabetes are kept in mind. Please contact us on Telegram 0837745609 or Whatsapp 0846743400. To the esteem of YAH!
Thought for Today: Thursday May 06
Identify the "danger areas" in your life -- those tendencies or weaknesses that carry the greatest hazard of plunging you into sin. Carefully evaluate what activities, situations or associations during the course of an average week bring you closest to those areas of "thin ice".
The number of Levites in Numbers 1-3 adds up to 22,300, but the Bible says 22,000. The missing 300 are the firstborn of the Levites. They weren't counted because they already belonged to God.
Read the census carefully and compare the number of firstborn males in each of the tribes of Israel to the number of people in each tribe. How many children must each family have had to make these numbers work? Even considering that many firstborn men died in Egypt from disease, hard labor, or disobedience to the instructions of Passover, the ratio is still astonishing.
And you shall appoint Aaron and his sons, and they shall guard their priesthood. But if any outsider comes near, he shall be put to death.
Numbers 3:10
Only a physical, male descendant of Aaron can offer sacrifices in the earthly Tabernacle or Temple. No women and no kings, prophets, or Levites who are not sons of Aaron. Not even Messiah may act in the place of a Levitical priest. (The Tabernacle in Heaven is another matter.)
