Shabbat shalom, y'all! I want everyone to know how much I appreciate you! Your presence on TTN brightens my days. I don't use mainstream social media, and I don't have local believers to fellowship with (and unfortunately, it probably shows!) The conversations, memes, and stories on here are thought provoking and encourage me to study parts of scripture I have often glazed over, having read it so many times. Parsha #chukat (Numbers 19-22:1) contains two references to extra-biblical books: Book of the Wars of YHWH and an unnamed collection of songs. That doesn't mean that they were divinely inspired works that we should add to our Bibles if they are rediscovered someday, but they would probably add a wealth of historical context to our understanding of Scripture.
