So true. I never cared for ingredients until we came to the understanding of Torah. ?

God often grants victory in ways that don't seem right to us. He has a longer and more informed point of view. For example, God promised to withhold power from #israel until they were ready for it. Too much, too fast leads to disaster. This is true for everyone.
See Deuteronomy 7:22-23, Proverbs 19:10 & 30:21-23.

As a practical example of this, and all glory to Father.

We helped an athiest friend out financially now nearly 15 years ago when we were still Christians. Just after we came to Torah in 2016, I told him that the loan has been void as I didn't want him to be under a burden and 7 years had passed, so I considered the loan released.

On Monday he contacted me after not having contact for nearly a year and he told me that he knew that the loan was no longer, but that he wanted to invest in our lives. He paid the original amount and interest back by himself without us even mentioning it the past 8 years.

What is so marvelous about Father's timing is that this is the first month in 25 years that we didn't have any spare funds to pay my mum's bills in South Africa, but I left it with Father while I was figure things out myself. ?

The verse about casting your bread on the waters immediately came to mind when he contacted me for my bank details...

Complacency allows evil to take root and grow. Keep the faith even when all seems right with the world. Continued obedience, continuous striving toward perfection enables God's power in your life to clean out all the dark hiding places, like Canaanites in all the dark corners of Israel. (Deut 7:20)

In whatever battlefield God has placed us, we have to keep moving forward. God won't automatically drive the enemy out faster than we can (or will) occupy. We have to show up at the battle in arms, then God will fight for us, and then we need to secure and hold the ground. Holiness is not binary. It is a long walk uphill, little by little, conquering one enemy stronghold after another until the whole land is cleansed. Progress is key, not perfection. (Deut 7:22)

If God gives you a mission, KNOW that you are capable. With God on your side, who can stand against you? God knows you better than you could ever hope to know yourself, and he knows the plans he has for you. If you say in your heart "How can I prevail?" say with your mouth, "How can God lose?" Speaking in accordance with God's promises will help to move your heart in the right direction.

What does Yeshua mean when He says, “the least of these My brethren” (Matthew 25:40)? Is He talking about Christians, or about His Jewish kin? Kevin Jessip emphasizes that our Jewish Messiah most certainly was referring to the Jewish people. With that in mind, how should we interact with Jewish people and the State of Israel today? That’s where we begin in this fourth part of our conversation with Kevin.

How we treat our Jewish brethren is important to our God. This is one of the many ways He places before us the choice of blessing or cursing, and life and death. It’s not just a Jewish thing, but an important aspect of our own Israelite identity. Barry and David talk about that in their midrash, Set Before You. We hear more about it in musical offerings from the Aleph Tav Band and from Mason Clover.

Wealth doesn't make anyone a better or worse person. It's a useful tool that can be used for the good of family, community, and Kingdom. But be wary of anyone who would treat you differently because of wealth, either theirs or yours.
