Issachar's territory was fertile, but also a constant battleground. The Jezreel Valley, aka Megiddo, was on the border of Issachar and Manasseh, but mostly in Issachar.
Joshua 19:17-23
Asher occupied extensive territory on the Mediterranean, including the city of Tyre. They didn't keep it, unfortunately.

Naphtali's territory was at the extreme north of Canaan. Until Dan relocated to the north, they were the northernmost tribe.
v32-39
Dan's territory was initially on the coast between Judah and Ephraim, but they were unable to hold out against the Philistines and many of them moved north of Naphtali, essentially creating a smaller colony north of the Sea of Galilee.

Happy prep day! Seeing a lot of hub-bub over the roman new year, even among our group. As one person pointed out, Yah's calendar, times and set apartness is far different and much more holy and righteous. Many will be freezing in times square this weekend to get drunk and watch a lighted ball make its way down a pole to the countdown of a sun year. Yah's years do not go by the sun alone. True, the month is determined by the solarjearth-lunar conjunction, but the year is set by the moon and stars. I have previously written posts on this. The knowledge is rather new to me, but I have tested it using sky maps and it is definitely how the ancients determined the years and months. A good book to read is "the witness of the stars" by e.w. bulinger. He researched the story of redemption, as told by the ancients through the stars, and shows where the greeks tried to corrupt the story. Its very informative and exciting to read. The one problem i have with his book is the conclusion, where he tries numerology and date setting. His date was wrong by almost exactly 50 years. The rest of the book is sound, however. Something to check out from the library today so you can read it when everyone is recovering from their hangovers on the second day of the week.

As the calendar year changes some will make a “New Year” resolution but most will give up in just a few weeks. Our Creator doesn’t rely on our calendar to make things happen, Isaiah 43:19, “Behold, I am about to do something new; even now it is coming. Do you not see it? Indeed, I will make a way in the wilderness and streams in the desert.” If we are willing to watch, listen and follow His way we will see what He has placed if front of us.
