I don't know if I've expressed it well, but I want all of you to know how much I appreciate you! From the beautiful posts of sunsets & flowers, to the thought provoking conversations and questions..I love it all. Rhy has worked really hard to provide this platform for us, & he participates in the contemplating and discussing as much as any of us, so special thanks to Rhy & his family for making the joining of all of us together possible! Thank you all for helping me grow and understand the things of the spiritual realm as well as the practical applications of Scripture to this linear reality. I hope that one day soon, we will all be united with full understanding of the Word and everything Yah wishes to reveal to us. We may have some turbulent times between now & then, but if we can hold fast to the Word & one another, we can persevere. May Yah bless you all! Shalom.
It is better to be of a lowly spirit with the poor than to divide the spoil with the proud.
Proverbs 16:19 ESV
It is better to make yourself low than to build yourself up and wait for God to tear you down. You might ride high for a brief time, but the fall will be so much more unpleasant and deeper than the lows you could have chosen.
Consider Yeshua who voluntarily made himself low in the form of a man, and then even lower as a homeless teacher who associated with the outcasts of society. He was elevated again to the right hand of the father. Those who take the spoils and honor now already have all the reward they will ever receive.
See the instruction concerning the wedding feast in Luke 14:7-11. "Everyone who exalts himself will be humbled, and he who humbles himself will be exalted.
There are some interesting parallels between Jacob's Exodus from Laban and the Hebrews' Exodus from Egypt:
They both fled oppression in a foreign land, plundered their oppressors, corrupted their new lives with the idols of their former captors, crossed a body of water, and formed a covenant at #sukkot. There are probably more parallels than that.

In many ways American culture mirrors that of ancient Egypt. We talk about death. We sing about it. We imitate it. We watch movies about it. We are always at war. We have chosen to embrace death and to reject the God of Life.

They did not see one another, nor did anyone rise from his place for three days, but all the people of Israel had light where they lived.

Why didn't the Hebrews leave immediately after the three days of darkness while Egypt was weak? God didn't tell them to leave then because he wasn't through with Pharaoh yet. It was only right before the tenth plague that God told the Hebrews to prepare to leave. Judgment doesn't end until judgment is complete.
'Records from Boston, starting in 1811, reveal recurring smallpox epidemics beginning around 1837. Despite the introduction of vaccination mandates in 1855, epidemics continued to occur in 1859 to 1860, 1864 to 1865, and 1867, with a particularly severe outbreak from 1872 to 1873. The continual reoccurrence of these epidemics in Massachusetts indicates that stringent vaccination regulations had no positive impact on curbing smallpox.
According to the research article, “SmallPox and Revaccination,” published in the 1881 Boston Medical and Surgical Journal, “The latest epidemic that of 1872–1873, having proved fatal to 1,040 persons, was the most severe (https://list.mailexpress.com/l....inks/xr4kR500zI~331/ that has been experienced in Boston since the introduction of vaccination.”
In Chicago, despite 95 percent vaccination coverage by 1868 and mandatory vaccination after the Great Chicago Fire of 1871, a severe smallpox epidemic occurred in 1872. Over 2,000 people contracted smallpox, and more than a quarter of these died (https://list.mailexpress.com/l....inks/xr4kR500zI~331/ with the highest fatality rate among children under age 5.
Europe: No Decline After Vaccination
Throughout the Western world, epidemics were more severe in highly-vaccinated populations.
Dr. G. W. Harman published an article in the 1900 medical journal Medical Brief (https://list.mailexpress.com/l....inks/xr4kR500zI~331/
entitled “A Physician’s Argument Against the Efficacy of Virus Inoculation,” highlighting widespread smallpox cases among vaccinated individuals in England, France, and Germany.
The death rate for smallpox declined after 1872, but there is no evidence that vaccination had anything to do with it. In the early 1900s, death from smallpox all but vanished from England...'

If your children or any family member wants YHVH to listen to them when they pray, they must be prepared to listen whenever He tries to speak to them. Communication/prayer is a two-way action. (Prayer: Thank You Adonai, that hearing Your voice is neither dependant on time, nor on place or circumstances. Make all in my household sensitive to Your voice and willing to obey You, amein)

Yes, discussions might not always look like it is going "our way", but we get to talk with like-minded people and learn how others interpret Scripture.
