Human sacrifice isn't just murder. It takes the very image of the Creator of Man and destroys it in honor of a fake god. It is a picture of the nature of all false religion.

The phrase, “tree of life” is mentioned several times in the Bible. Solomon considered wisdom a tree life (Proverbs 3:18) and he also writes that a soothing tongue is a as well (proverbs 15:4). Legend surrounds it as well and some consider Ezekiel 47:12 to imply he is describing the tree of life as well. “Along both banks of the river, fruit trees of all kinds will grow. Their leaves will not wither, and their fruit will not fail. Each month they will bear fruit, because the water from the sanctuary flows to them. Their fruit will be used for food and their leaves for healing."
