Most know the sarcasm about making assumptions… when we make the wrong assumption we look foolish. Often making the wrong assumption is the result of not having all of the information needed to establish the correct result and that is a why we are told this in Deuteronomy 19:15, “One witness shall not rise up against a man for any iniquity, or for any sin, in any sin that he sinneth: at the mouth of two witnesses, or at the mouth of three witnesses, shall the matter be established” We should obtain as much informations as possible before reaching a conclusion that may cause us to appear foolish.

1 + 1 + 1 = 3

If someone is accused of not following the law and no witnesses are found against that person and then tells others to go do what they themselves did, is that person then telling them to go break the law?

If the accused then employes someone to go teach others what they have taught their employee, does the employee then go and teach others to break the law?

1 - Matt 26:59-60a "Now the chief priests and the whole Council (Sanhedrin, Jewish High Court) tried to get false witnesses to testify against Jesus, so that they might [have a reason to] put Him to death. They found none, even though many false witnesses came forward."

1 - Matt 28:20a "teaching them to observe everything that I have commanded you"

1 - Acts 9 then speaks of Saul meeting with Yeshua, but verses 15 & 16 is the crux of the message "But the Lord said to him, “Go, for this man is a [deliberately] chosen instrument of Mine, to bear My name before the Gentiles and kings and the sons of Israel; for I will make clear to him how much he must suffer and endure for My name’s sake.”

3 - Paul wouldn't have taugh against Yeshua (who taught Torah) as he was commissioned to spread the Good News of Yeshua being the Messiah.

My view is therefore if there is something that I read where it seems like Yeshua, Paul or any other writer is going against Torah then I need to dig deeper as the error is in my understanding of the writing.

This mindset is what got me out of modern-Christianity and the foundation of my understanding of what was taught in the New Testament.

Absolutely could be. Just because there are no witness to your actions is just that, you can’t confirm nor deny whether or not they are keeping Yahuah’s Torah or breaking it. You should test what they say and do based on Yahuah’s Torah alone. Only after examination will you know whether they speak to do good or evil and the only way to know between good and evil is know and keep Yahuah’s Torah. Yahshua’s sacrifice is for our sins. Sin is breaking of Yahuah’s Torah. In order to know what sin is one must know Yahuah’s Torah. Without knowledge of Yahuah’s Torah, you’ll always fall on rocking ground stumbling around in the dark accepting human opinion over Scripture.

Makes sense to me. I also say if Paul seems to disagree with something Yeshua plainly said then we either misunderstand Paul or we misunderstand Yeshua or we misunderstand both. If it's plain out of Yeshua's mouth, I'm going to stand on what Yeshua said.

SHALOM!

Here is your question for Yom Shyshy found in today's Torah portion in Shemoth 4:18-31:

What was Mosheh's request of his father-in-law?

13 Sh’moth – Day 6
Sh’moth 4:18-31
Then Mosheh went and returned to Yether his father-in-law, and said to him, “Please let me go and return to my brothers who are in Mitsrayim to see whether they are still alive.” And Yithro said to Mosheh, “Go in peace.”
And YHWH said to Mosheh in Miḏyan, “Go, return to Mitsrayim, for all the men are dead who sought your life.”
So Mosheh took his wife and his sons and set them on a donkey, and he returned to the land of Mitsrayim. And Mosheh took the rod of Elohim in his hand.
And YHWH said to Mosheh, “As you go back to Mitsrayim, see that you do all those wonders before Pharaoh which I have put in your hand. But I am going to strengthen his heart, so that he does not let the people go.
“And you shall say to Pharaoh, ‘Thus said YHWH, “Yisra’ěl is My son, My first-born, so I say to you, let My son go to serve Me. But if you refuse to let him go, see, I am killing your son, your first-born.”’”
And it came to be on the way, in the lodging place, that YHWH met him and sought to kill him.
And Tsipporah took a sharp stone and cut off the foreskin of her son and threw it at his feet, and said, “You are indeed a bridegroom of blood to me!”
So He let him go. Then she said, “You are a bridegroom of blood,” because of the circumcision.
And YHWH said to Aharon, “Go to meet Mosheh in the wilderness.” And he went and met him on the mountain of Elohim, and kissed him.
Mosheh then told Aharon all the words of YHWH who had sent him, and all the signs which He had commanded him.
And Mosheh went with Aharon and gathered together all the elders of the children of Yisra’ěl.
And Aharon spoke all the words which YHWH had spoken to Mosheh. Then he did the signs before the eyes of the people.
And the people believed. And they heard that YHWH had visited the children of Yisra’ěl and that He had looked on their affliction, and they bowed their heads and did obeisance.

Tehillah 93 – Day 6 (Yom Shishy)
YHWH shall rule, He shall put on excellency; YHWH shall put on strength; He shall gird Himself. Indeed, the world is established, immovable.
Your throne is established from of old; You are from everlasting.
Rivers shall lift up, O YHWH, Rivers shall lift up their voice; Rivers lift up their breakers.
YHWH on high is mightier Than the noise of many waters, The mighty breakers of the sea.
Your witnesses have been very trustworthy. Set-apartness befits Your house, O YHWH, forever.

Interesting how the wise receives knowledge and not wisdom as he first needs to action the knowledge to turn it into wisdom.

E.g. a person can recite the entire Bible from memory, but it will not benefit him if it doesn't become alive = wisdom.
