Passion week was never meant to be observed using the days of the week. It was disconnected from that because it must be observed on the Hebrew calendar. Friday to Sunday just doesn't make sense on any level.

Jeremiah 33:2 — 3, “Thus says Yehovah who made the earth, Yehovah who formed it to establish it; Yehovah is His name, ‘Call to Me and I will answer you, and I will tell you great and mighty things, which you do not know.” We know that our Creator answers prayer in various ways. Sometimes He sends a messenger, sometimes He shows us a dream or a vision and sometimes it’s a miracle. One of the most unmentioned answers comes in the form of using something difficult and making it very easy and of course sometimes the answer is “No.” There is one absolute, He will never give an answer that conflicts with what He has already said or established, His answer will never cause anyone to sin.
