So true! As a volunteer for Search & Rescue with Marty, I have come to learn that dogs actually love cold. It gives them a fresh burst of energy

Have you noticed the connection between Israel’s current war and the war Abraham waged against the kings of Mesopotamia who invaded the Promised Land and took his family members hostage? If you haven’t noticed that connection, consider reviewing Genesis 14, and while you’re at it, take another look at Psalm 83. Here’s a hint: from the very beginning, Israel’s wars have taken place both on the physical battlefield, and in the spiritual realms. That’s true of the biblical wars in ancient times, and of the modern wars as God has come through on His promises to regather and restore Israel.

This is why our Jewish brethren of Israel need spiritual warriors skilled in prayer, praise, and worship to call on the God of Israel to complete His redemption of His Covenant Nation and bring victory in this current war that began with the brutal invasion by Hamas on October 7.

Are you up for the challenge? Then come to Lebanon, Tennessee, on December 13 and join Teshuva Music in a night of worship and prayer for the nation of Israel. Come and do battle with us in the spiritual realm!

What also peaked my interest is when I realized that Gaza is the same Gaza as in the Bible; the last Philistine settlement which Solomon couldn't destroy. He then made them subjects to Israel, but never completed Father's instruction and it has been a thorn in their sides since then.

I actually collected some acorns from our tree last year and dried it over the past year. I just haven't had time to look thoroughly how to prepare it so that it isn't bitter, etc.

I do however look forward to trying it one of these days when I have time.

Acorns are also very good for baby food and chicken food too. The Indians fed their babies acorn mush all the time

Today's pondering...
When seeking Biblical advice from someone about a situation with a mutual acquaintance, how do you [personally] present the situation in a way that avoids the potential for gossip?
I don't think there's necessarily one right answer here so please don't see this as a test or debate. It is merely a sharing of ideas and tips.

You have made your question more difficult by stipulating "a mutual acquaintance" in your parameters.

Is that an absolute requirement for your question as anything you say could elude to the person you are talking about or you could be considered a gossip yourself?

I would need to know that the person I am talking with isn't a gossip and trustworthy and then name the person by name and specify that I need guidance and that this isn't a gossiping session. I would make it very clear from the outset.

Another approach would be (without that specification) to find someone who has no knowledge of the person I am speaking about so that their input is totally neutral and forgotten about after the conversation.
