David admits trying to do things his way even though he trusts his Creator. Psalm 119: 109 — 110, “I constantly take my life in my hands, yet I do not forget Your law. The wicked have set a snare for me, but I have not strayed from Your precepts.” David’s struggle between doing what he wants to do and living the way he is designed to live is no different than the things we struggle with today.
