Learning to Live Humbly
Have you ever met an angry Believer?
You may have come across Believers who love to grumble, complain, or even speak harshly about other people. Maybe you’ve even been that person at times in your own life.
If we're not careful, we can easily become self-righteous within our walk as disciples. After all, we know the truth and others may not. You might see how tempting it can be to look down upon other people, demean them, or consider them as worse off than ourselves.
But this misses the point of the gospel of Yeshua.
The gospel tell us that all of us begin at the same starting point. And it’s only through grace that we come to salvation and learn the truth about Abba’s love for us.
That doesn’t make us any better than other Believers! In fact, as Paul says in Ephesians 4:2, we should actually be humble and gentle with others, rather than harsh and critical. He says we are to be patient with one another, helping one another in every way that we can so that we all grow together.
These ideas aren’t original to Paul. They actually came from how Yeshua lived his life. As followers of Jesus, we too should strive to be gentle, humble, and patient with everyone in our life. Regardless of whether they look or think a different way, every person deserves dignity, patience, and love.
Take some time today to think of a few ways that you can grow in patience, humility, and love with others. It could be slowing down long enough for people to know you care, saying something encouraging to someone, or admitting to someone that you’ve made a mistake.
Make the decision today to live in humility and grace with others.

SMALL STRAWS by MARSHA BURNS:
In a vision I saw a pool of very clear water fed by a mountain stream. The water was still and without ripple, and there was someone looking into the clear water to see his own reflection. And, I heard the Lord say: Quiet and calm your soul so that it is like this pool without a ripple. Then, you can see yourself clearly and know who you are in Me, says the Lord, and you will know where to go from here. Isaiah 32:17 The fruit of righteousness will be peace; its effect will be quietness and confidence forever.

Healing Promise:
“Trust in Adonai with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge Him and He shall direct your paths. Do not be wise in your own eyes; fear Adonai and depart from evil. It will be health to your flesh and strength to your bones” (Proverbs 3:5-8 NKJV)
Healing Prayer:
My Abba, You have created my body and You know what has happened to my back to cause the pain and discomfort I’ve been experiencing. Because this is true, I want You to know that I am placing my full trust in You. As I acknowledge You, I know You will direct my paths. Therefore, I will always reverence You and depart from all forms of evil. Thank You for Your promise to reward me with health and strength. I claim Your promise now as I ask You to heal my back problems. Have mercy on me O Adonai! Heal me for I know that pain is not Your will for me. I will praise You with my whole heart, for Your loving kindness and Your truth are keeping me. As I cry out to You I know You are hearing me and You are making me bold with strength in my soul as well as my body. Praise You Abba. Thank You Adonai, for perfecting that, which concerns me. I know my back troubles concern You as well. Your mercy endures forever Abba and I ask You not to forsake the work of Your hands; my body. Look upon my affliction and pain and forgive me all my sins. My faith does not stand in the wisdom of men Adonai, but in Your Almighty power to heal me totally and completely. Therefore, with Your help, I will walk by faith and live by faith. I believe in You Abba and I thank You that You are rewarding me with healing of whatever is causing the pains in my back. I give You all the glory for Your healing power. From this time forward I will seek first Your Kingdom and Your righteousness, realizing that as I do so, You will take care of me and meet my needs. How I praise You Abba for Your promise to supply all my needs according to Your riches in glory through Moshiach Yeshua, including the need for healing. I claim that promise for my life both now an for the future. Abba thank You for the promise of Yeshua who clearly contrasted the difference between Your goals for my life and those of satan. Whereas satan wants me to suffer You want me to experience our wonderful abundance. I now cast all my cares upon You Abba and I resist the devil and all his attacks against me. I receive the abundant life You have promised to me, a life free from pain, as I close this prayer with deep gratitude for all You have done for me. In the precious Name of Yeshua I pray, amen.
