For the law was given through Moses; grace and truth came through Jesus Christ.

Some translations incorrectly insert a "but" between the two clauses in this verse. The Law is not opposed to Grace and Truth. They work together. The Law given through Moses contains/reveals grace and truth, while the grace and truth given through Yeshua contains/reveals the true meaning and purpose of the Law.
You are not justified in using a title that was used in Scripture to legitimize your role with the Beast!

#yeshua was conceived six months after John the Immerser, yet John proclaimed that Yeshua existed before he did. This is true because, although his body was created, his being has always existed. I think most English translations obscure the meaning in this verse a little by translating two different words as "before".
