Here is a post I wrote in 2010, on how to homeschool and have a home business at the same time. I'm hoping it's an encouragement. I'm curious how many of you are in this boat!

My husband and I are. My husband is a personal trainer and I am helping behind the scenes of the business. But he works full-time currently as a math teacher. And I am starting homeschooling my four-year-old.

I'm Anne, and my husband and I live in Michigan. We have 7 kids, although only 3 are left in school. My husband helps lead a Torah congregation, and he's a graphic designer and lover of all things homesteading. I'm a book worm, curriculum writer for Homeschooling Torah, and music lover. Starting a business that would support our family has been a lifelong dream, but it's also lots of hard work. I'm hoping I can encourage others on their journey. My dream would be to see Torah families having the strongest and most excellent companies in the world -- and hey, that's what Scripture says will happen! #kolIsrael

My name is Frannia. My husband is Ataa although most call him by his last name, Addo. We have one child and are preparing for another if Elohim allows it. He has been a high school math teacher for almost 20 years, his favorite part of it being connecting with the students. And he is so good at it. I always say I would have loved to have a math teacher like him! But his passion is fitness. And he brought that into our family. I have a degree in social work that I have never actually used (Except during my internship). I have found the most value and purpose in life after having my son. It has been so challenging in so many ways but I am grateful for how Elohim has used this to help me grow. Now as our family works on our personal training business we are putting the various skills Elohim has given us to work. We want to help people with previous injuries that have been cleared by their doctors to strengthen their bodies and strengthen their health. Why? Because health is such a blessing and a great contributor to us fulfilling our jobs while on this Earth for the glory of our Creator. Our children need us, our grandchildren need us. Our friends and families also need us. In the same way we invest in education, or a financial investment we must invest in our health daily. The consistent little steps are what will make the difference. We have been seeing this in our own lives as Elohim challenges us to have self-control and be disciplined. To make working out a priority. To make eating the right foods a priority. - Apart from all this, I love reading books and working on little projects to give to family and friends. And I am blessed that my husband LOVES to cook.

I am Joshua. I am a husband and father of 4 children, two that are deaf. I was in the corporate world for 20 years (IT for most of it) before the Father pulled me out of it. Since leaving, I started a Biblical T-shirt shop on TeeSpring (now Spring) and then the Father gave me the idea for the comic strip I do just over 3 years ago now. As I summarize on my bio everywhere "I like to design things and draw cartoons of the Bible". - These are my main focuses outside of homeschooling our children. I do also do website/social media work for an online ministry, as well as general tech support for friends/family. - What I really need help in is direction. What to do next to grow? In listening to the video below, I feel like the one putting content out, that maybe people just don't know about. I have joined several social media sites to promote/post the comics. I am currently here, Facebook, Instagram, Vero, Minds, MeWe, and TikTok (which I have the highest follower count for). I have somewhat turned the T-shirt shop as more of a merch store for the comic as a way to make funds. I have also put together two books, with a third on the way via Amazon publishing. I am also working on some ideas for stickers and wallpapers to offer as well.

Those who don't have a local ministry they attend... how do you find fellowship? I don't mean social media-replaced relationships, I mean actual fellowship.

For the past couple years, it's been a real struggle for me to find personal fellowship with other believers of sound doctrine. I've been sharing The Truth whenever I can, wherever I go, with friends and family members, hoping that someone's heart would respond and I'd have at least one brother or sister to fellowship with. I've been rejected at every turn, so far, and I think that's to be expected to a degree, so my motivation to physically move myself to a place where the believers are assembling has been steadily increasing. I'll be moving soon (within 12 months, I reckon) to Appalachia - because at some point, we all need to start sitting down at an actual table together and start breaking actual bread together. Until then, I keep going from place to place, sharing the Good News and clapping the dust from my sandals before I move on.

I know its not a replacement for in person fellowship but we have a group of ladies really enjoying fellowshiping on our app in the chat room. Its been a lot of fun and new connections are being made. You are always welcome to join us. I'm amazed at how kind and supportive everyone has been. But then again, why should I be suprised when Messiah's at the center of us all. ?

I'm not Catholic, but this is a good article showing that you can't engage in unrepentented sinful behaviour and expect to enter Yah's kingdom.

The Catholic Church is clear that same-sex activity is mortally sinful.

These more recent eras of Catholicism are remarkable. The history of the Roman Catholic religion is full of truly antichrist behaviors and teachings, but this resurgence of a completely adulterous sect of religion seems to be serving as a litmus paper for those of us with eyes to see, so that we can clearly understand the direction that the world has chosen. Heartbreaking...

Apologies for being late with this -- technology fail me this morning!

Thought for Today: Wednesday June 08:

May YHVH grant you grace today when you would rather grumble. May He inspire hope when you would rather breath a heavy sigh. May He help you be kind when you would rather be cruel. May you rest in Him today and be more like Him every moment from now on. May you have an enormous blessed and joyful day.
