Peace on Lake of Gennesaret (Sea of Galilee).
This Picture was taken while on the Sea of Galilee during my trip to Israel in 2019. The morning started chilly, overcast, and rainy. As our group began to worship and Praise Adonai, the rain stopped and the sun began to shine through the clouds began to part with the sun shinning through. While I decided to capture the moment with my camera, the sea gulls added to the beauty. I will never forget the peace that was present and the joy our group was experiencing while on these waters. Praise Yah!

Ezra 6
19And the sons of the exile performed the Passover on the fourteenth day of the first month,
20for the priests and the Lĕwites had cleansed themselves – all of them were clean. And they slaughtered the Passover for all the sons of the exile, and for their brothers the priests, and for themselves.
21And the children of Yisra’ĕl who had returned from the exile ate together with all who had separated themselves from the uncleanness of the gentiles of the land in order to seek יהוה Elohim of Yisra’ĕl.
22And they performed the Festival of Unleavened Bread seven days with joy, for יהוה caused them to rejoice, and turned the heart of the sovereign of Ashshur toward them, to strengthen their hands in the work of the House of Elohim, the Elohim of Yisra’ĕl.
You may have heard, “The enemy of my enemy is my friend.” This old saying could have come from Exodus 23; 20—22, “Behold, I am sending an angel before you to protect you along the way and to bring you to the place I have prepared. Pay attention to him and listen to his voice; do not defy him, for he will not forgive rebellion, since My Name is in him. But if you will listen carefully to his voice and do everything I say, I will be an enemy to your enemies and a foe to your foes.” The word listen here is more than just listen, it means to hear and obey. When we hear and obey our Creator, that is when we open ourselves to receiving and embracing every blessing He chooses to give us. He will see our enemies as His enemies.
Be strong and of good courage; fear not, neither be dismayed.

I was thinking about something I thought was fairly straightforward. The concept of coming to Yah like that of a child.
This at first meant to me and still does, eager, with wonder, with excitement, and love. I pictured a child’s giddy play time and their ease of taking info in and so heartedly living in the world of their imagination. Quite frankly the idea of having genuine faith in something not seen.
Recently it has taken on a new concept which I’ve not heard many using in this way. To come to Yah as a blank slate. To let go of all teachings, concepts, bitterness, and preconceived truths.
That you cannot perceive the truth, know the truth, if you think you know it all already. You are not teachable.
His ways are higher than our own and our righteousness are as dirty rags. Even in our own understanding we still need to remain teachable. To be the essence of a child. Always, blank and with room for Yah to write instructions on our hearts. To teach us.
Just a thought, maybe one others understood before me, but one I think that is always good for a reminder in loving Yah.
Shalom!

Thought for Today: Tuesday March 22:
YHVH wants you to be all His, filled with the Light of His Presence. He gave everything for you by living as a man, then dying for your sins and living again. Do not hold anything back from Him. Bring your most secret thoughts into the Light of His Love. He transforms and clean anything from darkness that you bring to Him. He knows everything about you, far more than you know of yourself. But He restrain His yearning to fix you, waiting for you to ask Him for help. Imagine the divine restraint this requires, for He has all the Power in heaven and on earth. Seek YHVH’s Face with a teachable spirit. Come into His Presence with thanksgiving, desiring to be transformed.
