Thought for Today: Wednesday December 29:
Take time to be holy. The word holy does not mean to be so-so. It means set apart for sacred use. That is what these quiet moments in His Presence are accomplishing within you. As you focus your heart and mind on YHVH, you are being transformed; re-created into the one He designed you to be. This process requires blocks of time set aside for communion with Him. The benefits of this practice are limitless. Emotional and physical healing are enhanced by your soaking in the Light of His Presence. You experience a nearness to Him that strengthens your faith and fills you with Peace. You opens yourself up to receive the many blessings that He has prepared for you. You become a cleansed temple of His Ruach Kodesh, who is able to do in and through you immeasurable more than what you ask or imagine. These are just some of the benefits of being still in His Presence
You are the salt of the earth, but if salt has lost its taste, how shall its saltiness be restored? It is no longer good for anything except to be thrown out and trampled under people's feet.
Matthew 5:13
Salt is salt. The only way it can lose its saltiness is if it becomes NOT salt, like sodium chlorite, a highly toxic chemical, instead of sodium chloride. But salt can also become useless by being defiled by blood or other impurities. Since #yeshua was talking to his disciples and not to unbelievers, there is a very important lesson in this for us: Don't become a toxic or defiling substance in the Body of Christ or his immune system will toss you out eventually.

Creation and sanctification are both acts of separation. God frequently creates through division: Light/dark, water/land, life/non-life, Hebrew/Egyptian, obedient/disobedient. Exodus 9
What separates God's people from Egypt's? Like Jacob and his sheep, God looks for marks. The first mark is the #sabbath. See also Isaiah 56:1-8.
