Studying creation is a fascinating subject, even as we grow older. We can better understand the intricate design and loving provision Yah put in place for us. My daughter has taken up foraging for wild edibles. What a great way to see Yah provide "our daily bread!" There are plans for lilac jelly in the near future. She asked me to create a foraging journal for her to track the plants she locates. It's almost done and I'll be adding it to the store later this week! What have you and your children discovered in nature lately?

Being made in the image of our Creator is more than just looking like Him. Consider a 3—D printer that produces an object that very much resembles the original but made out of a different substance. We are much like 3—d printed object with some very important differences. We may resemble the original but we will never be able to do all of the same things the Creator did. A printed object will never have all of the same attributes as the original, a plastic printed replica will never be as strong as the original steel. That should not stop us from being the best replica or representative we can be. Believers have the opportunity to be the best example of living the way we are designed to live. Psalm 1; 1—2, “ Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor standeth in the way of sinners, nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful. But his delight is in the law of the Lord; and in his law doth he meditate day and night.”

This is a time of abundance in your life. Your cup is running over with blessings. After plodding uphill this past year, 2 years or even more, you are now traipsing through lush meadows drenched in warm sunshine. YHVH wants you to enjoy to the full this time of ease and refreshment. He delights in providing for you. Sometimes believers hesitate to receive His Good Gifts with open hands. Feelings of false guilt creeps in, telling them they do not deserve to be so richly blessed. This is nonsense-thinking, because no-one deserves anything from YHVH. His Kingdom is not about earning and deserving; it is about BELIEVING and RECEIVING. When a believer balks at accepting YHVH’s gifts, He is deeply grieved. When you receive His abundant blessings with a grateful heart, He rejoice. His please in giving and your pleasure in receiving flow together in joyous harmony.
