Psalm 8; 1, “O LORD, our Lord, how majestic is Your name in all the earth! You have set Your glory above the heavens.” Notice how this verse begins, In the original Hebrew this verse begins; יהוה אדנינו the name of our Creator followed by the respectful phrase “our lord” but what should we learn form this? The knowledge of knowing who is being written about and the context of the writing describes many things. In this example we see the respect and awe David has for his Creator. David makes certain everyone who would read this would know who he is writing about and the description reveals David’s reverence for his Creator.
