Core Anomaly
Core Anomaly

A memory from my past keeps coming back to mind inbetween bouts of homelessness and addiction I would go out to the acridge of my adoptive parents to dry out and reflect...they bred dogs...the dogs had these individual runs to keep the dogs seperated...I remember opening the runs wanting the dogs to come out and play some were so (institutionalized) they wouldn't let themselves that would change if I took the time to get to know dogs in each run over time....thinking about it makes me so sad not just for the doggies...but for us...how much has this system caused us to unesscarily derprive ourselves off...what will it really look like properly set straight?

Ryan Vanorsdel
Ryan Vanorsdel    Economic Development of kol Israel

3 yrs

Hi, i am hoping this list, or at least the ideas in it make the rounds here at TTN. It seems Yah is doing a broad work of inspiring meaningful work and trade amongst his people and that it may play some significant role in restoring Israel.

I have given significant thought and prayer to the long term goals of a Hebrew economy, lawful money, not for profit exchanges... it seems to me that no matter how we end up getting to the big goals there are some things lacking to get started. So i am gonna write some suggestions here on small commitments each of us could make that i believe will be sure to bear good fruit regardless of exactly how the longer path leads. Here they are.

1.) If you know someone on TTN who is working on putting up something of practical value for sale here on TTN, encourage them once this week to do it soon and then check in with them next week to see how it is going and see if you can offer any assistance.

2.) If there is any way of getting the word out site-wide to encourage homesteaders to grow or sell non-gmo seeds i think that nay be very helpful.

3.) Continue to encourage people to buy and read Durable Trades.

4.) Can someone ask the founder if there is a way of creating a site wide "wanted" section? Most exchanges really need good representation for the demand side of things and not just the supply side of things. Shops are supply side only. A wanted section would give all the handy men and women on TTN some clarity on what they might want to put in their shops, learn to build, grow... without good knowledge of what is in demand, the suppliers are shooting in the dark to some degree.

5.) Put on a digital calendar that has a reminder a weekly reminder to "do something, anything" to encoruage or help build the Hebrew economy on TTN. Putting things on your calendar is often the only real way of getting something started and out of the idea phase. Consistent effort is not replaceable with all the great ideas in the world.

I hope this is helpful and i hope it stirs you all to good works.

With love,
Ryan

Anne Elliott Thanks for the tag.

Ryan Vanorsdel On point 4, in the Marketplace is a section for "Wanted, Swop & Freebies" which I hope covers your suggestion, but please let me know if you are thinking of something else.

YHVH IS OMNIPOTENT--He is able to solve my problem. Nothing is too hard for Him and no problem is too big (Gen 18:14; Luke 1:37). Through Him I can do all things (Phil. 4:13).

YHVH IS OMNIPRESENT --As I face this problem He is with me and in me. He will never leave me nor forsake me (Deut. 31:6,8). He never asked me to solve the problem by myself. The Living God is my Helper (Hebrews 13:5-6; Isaiah 41:10).

YHVH IS OMNISCIENT --He knows all about my problem and He knows its solution. Also He knows how much I can bear (1 Cor. 10:13).

YHVH IS WISE--YHVH allowed this problem in my life because He knows what is best for me. He also knows the best solution.

YHVH IS IMMUTABLE (NEVER CHANGES)--The same

YHVH that saved me (solved my biggest problem) is the same

YHVH who is able to help me in whatever problem I must face (compare Rom. 8:32). In other words, if He took care of my greatest problem (my need for salvation), then certainly He can take care of the lesser problems that I face day by day. The YHVH that helped David, Daniel, Paul, etc. in their problems is the same YHVH that is able to help me. I can always count on YHVH being God (Heb. 13:8; Mal. 3:6).

YHVH IS SOVEREIGN--He is in complete control of the situation. He is King of my life. He allowed this problem to come into my life and it is in His hands to do with it as He pleases (Psalm 115:3; Eph. 1:11).

YHVH IS FAITHFUL--As I trust YHVH for the solution to this problem He will not fail me (1 Cor. 10:13). His promises cannot fail. I can count on YHVH in this situation (2 Cor. 1:20).

YHVH IS TRUE--I can claim the promises in YHVH’s Word because YHVH does not and cannot lie (Tit. 1:2; Heb. 6:18). What He says, that will He do!

YHVH IS ETERNAL--As I view my problem in light of eternity, it becomes quite insignificant (Deut. 33:27; Isaiah 57:15).

YHVH IS BIG--YHVH is much bigger than my problem! Often I look at my problem and it seems too BIG. It is really an anthill, but it looks like a mountain! ("I worry, I putter, I push and shove, hunting little molehills to make MOUNTAINS of.")

To YHVH, it is not big at all, and He is not at all worried about it BECAUSE He makes paths straight.

YHVH IS LOVE--God wants to communicate Himself to me in this problem. In the middle of this problem, YHVH wants the highest and the best for me! YHVH is concerned for MY GOOD ALWAYS (Deut. 6:24). There is no problem, no matter how great, that can separate me from His love (Romans 8:35-39).

YHVH IS GOOD--In the midst of my problem and difficulty,

YHVH wants to bless me. He wants to make me more like HIS SON (Romans 8:28-29). He wants to transform the problem into a blessing!

YHVH IS RIGHTEOUS--In allowing this problem to come into my life, YHVH did what was right. He makes no mistakes! He is never wrong! See Genesis 18:25.

YHVH IS JUST-- YHVH is fair in all that He does, including sending this problem away.

Rom 8:31 What shall we then say to these things? If יהוה be for us, who can be against us? 32 He that spared not his own Son, but delivered him up for us all, how shall he not with him also freely give us all things? 33 Who shall lay any thing to the charge of the elect of יהוה It is יהוה that justifieth. 34 Who is he that condemneth? It is the Messiah that died, yea rather, that is risen again, who is even at the right hand of יהוה, who also maketh intercession for us. 35 Who shall separate us from the love of the Messiah? shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword? 36 As it is written, For thy sake we are killed all the day long; we are accounted as sheep for the slaughter. 37 Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us. 38 For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, 39 Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of יהוה, which is in Messiah יהושע our Saviour.

Thought for Today: Monday January 10:

Stay calmly conscious of YHVH every moment, no matter what. Remember that He always goes before you, as well as with you, everywhere. Nothing takes Him by surprise. He will not allow circumstances to overwhelm you, as long as you look up to Him and holding on to Him. He will help you cope with whatever the moment presents. Collaborating with Him brings blessings that far outweigh all your troubles. Awareness of His Presence contains Joy that can endure all eventualities

I have a few people I'd like to introduce to the Torah Network. Funny though, people seem to adopt social media if they feel like they discovered it themselves.

Shalom Shalom family ?

I Thessalonians 5:16-18
Rejoice always, pray without ceasing, in everything give thanks; for this is the will of YHVH in Yeshua HaMashiach for you.

Our Heavenly Father, thank You for the blessing of a new day and restoring to us a new life. We commit this day to You. We lift up in prayer to You each beloved family  member, we dedicate  our children before Your Holiness, we bring all who is in distress and suffering to Your loving and caring arms. We ask in Your Name for You to bless and protect them. Father, we count our lives on earth as nothing compared to the glory of Your Kingdom where we will worship You for all eternity. We give thanks for health, strength, grace, forgiveness, peace, joy, for loving us unconditionally and never failing us. Lead us, that whatever we do, we do it to Glorify You. We thank You for every blessing and also for every trial for they shape us into who we are meant to be and who You want us to be. Thank You for new mercies and blessings each and every day. We thank You for wonderful spouses, food on the table, and roofs over our heads. Thank You, Father, that You know us, You hear us, and You see our tears. We gratefully give thanks for all You have done Messiah, as well as all You are going to do in our lives. Forgive us all our sins and trespasses against Thee and others.  Let our hearts be filled with joyful praises unto You. May we stand strong in faith, knowing Your Promises for us and our life will be fulfilled. For You are the God of truth and the blessings in every way. Let Thy Kingdom come and will be done on earth as in heaven. Amein

Be blessed and stay blessed ?
