Blessed are You Adonai Eloheinu of our salvation; to You be the praise and the glory forever and ever. As we rejoice in Your triumphant entry into Yerushalayim, may we too be willing to walk the way of the cross. May we all follow Your footsteps and may we, by our lives, witness to You as our Adonai and our King and declare Your saving love to the world. Blessed are You Holy One Most High, Creator of the universe. Adonai, cleanse Your Church from any pride or greed. Cleanse us from our sins and free us to serve You. Remove our sins from us as far as the East is removed from the west, as You promised in Your Word. Strengthen our sense of mission and service, Strengthen our sensitivity towards the need of others. Strengthen our faith and our vision for Your world. Adonai, guide all nations into the ways of justice and peace. Guide all leaders, rulers and governments to care for our world. Comfort all who are broken by war, violence and crime. Comfort all who are shattered by the betrayal or abuse of loved ones; all who feel scorned and rejected. Comfort all who are imprisoned and wrongly sentenced. Adonai, as our Saviour and Friend, bless our homes and our loved ones with Your love. Guide us all in our dealings and help us to live with You as our Adonai. Let Your Kingly rule be known in us as it is in heaven. Adonai, You were broken on the cross to make us whole. Be with all who are suffering at this time. Come as light to those who walk in darkness, the despairing and the despondent. Come as joy to all who have lost confidence and to all who are depressed. Come as hope to all who are ill and all who are fearful. Adonai Yeshua, we remember that You died that we may live. You descended into the depths to raise us to the heights. We ask Your blessing upon all our friends, family, loved-ones and neighbours, may they all one day rejoice in the fullness of Your Kingdom. Father, we pray this in the mighty Name of Yeshua Moshiach, amein.
The Hebrew word used to describe the #proverbs31 wife in v10 and translated variously as "excellent", "of valor", and "competent" is "chayil". It most often refers to an army or a might warrior.
Do you want an excellent wife? Then look for a woman with strength, competence, and intelligence coupled with humility and a desire to serve her husband.
