The altar of unhewn stone contains a metaphor of our salvation: It is a work done solely by the power of God. No effort or device of man can remove the stain of sin from our souls.
Today is the 2 year anniversary since my dad passed. I miss him terribly but I also celebrate because one day we will be shoulder to shoulder at Yah's throne worshiping our Redeemer together. I'm sure it may be nothing like that but the thought brings me great joy.
This is him pictured with a '57 Chevy his dad bought brand new and had labored for many years in restoration. He did a phenomenal job with it. Being a hobbyist photographer, he commissioned me to take this photo attempting to duplicate a similar picture he had of grandpa standing in front of the very same car in the very same pose.
