What is stopping the people of Faith from the vaccine?
People will say they are not taking the vaccine for reasons of faith. Did you know what are some of those? For me, it is MRC-5 These are aborted fetal cells and other DNA. They sold baby parts, is that still going on? I don't trust that they ONLY use aborted cells in 1960, and I still can't live on murdered babies' stem cells. Just a thought.

I am not sure what they put in these vaccines I am sure it;s not good. I am not afraid of this virus at all had it twice and the 2nd time was nothing. I have no fear and will never rely on the government for my health. I put my trust in YAH, not the vaccine

After a long cold spell the girls took advantage of mid 40s temps to make some cleansing flights and do some housekeeping. I was super excited to see activity in 5 of the 6 hives. So far so good but not yet half way through winter yet.

shalom ladies. I was wondering if any of you have dealt with fighting among your children? I do my best to keep them in line but sometimes it's like a fuse waiting to be lit. I have five boys, and one girl(age 14). the boys are aged 12, 10, 10, 7, and 6 (very soon to be 8 and 7). They will get into heated arguments over things like 'someone stole my ....' and, 'you just threw such and such and it hit me so I'm going to hit you back' and I have tried and tried to show them how to forgive each other and what the bible says. most times they are okay and not fighting, but the escalation is sometimes very rapid and then it goes beyond words. I would love for them to all show love and kindness to one another. the house is like a volcano on a lot of days.
thanks for listening.
ps. i have prayed, anointed with oil, cast out devils, and so many other things that don't seem to really make a huge difference.
pps. I would also appreciate any actual discipline or consequence that might work. I have tried things like grounding them, and making them sit on the couch by themselves, and withholding things like books or toys. I don't like to use the work as a consequence because it makes them loathe working when they haven't done something "wrong". (I was punished like that as a child and i have a hard time with chores as an adult).
okay, thanks again

Hello Jen! I have 3 boys (16,14, & 11), so there have been plenty of fights. Some may disagree, but sometimes I will stand back and let them wrestle it out (unless they are acting out of rage- that I won't allow). For some reason the "pecking order" is important to them. After it is all done, they are laughing with each other again. ?‍♀️ There seemed to be a lot more fighting when I was constantly trying to get them to always agree with each other.

Patrick Lauser
Patrick Lauser    Polygyny

4 yrs

Something I found which I wrote back in 2014:

Some people in arguing for marrying multiple wives give the examples of Abraham, Jacob, David, or Solomon. Those who argue against polygyny say that the Bible only records their actions, it does not condone them. They say that since the Bible does not specifically say it is right, we are free to condemn it as much as we like.

And marrying multiple wives was not the only thing the Bible records David doing. David also tells the priest that he was sent by the king when he was actually fleeing for his life, and he eats the shewbread, which is expressly forbidden by the law.

If there is any point where a person could be sure that David’s example should not be followed, it would be when he did what was unlawful, by eating the shewbread.

Then Jesus says:
Have ye not read so much as this, what David did, when himself was an hungred, and they which were with him;
How he went into the house of God, and did take and eat the shewbread, and gave also to them that were with him; which it is not lawful to eat but for the priests alone?
Luke 6:3-4

Some say that Jesus can interpret how he likes because he is God. But he is not giving us new information, he is not explaining something to the Pharisees, he is rebuking them for not seeing what is clear in the scriptures.

He says “Have ye not read so much as this?”
Implying that something should have been obvious to us. Something he made clear, which we have no excuse for missing.

When we read what David did, Jesus expected us to not condemn his action, though it was expressly forbidden by the law, and not only that: he also expects us to take his action as a guide to our thinking.

This is far bolder than any claim made by advocates of polygyny, yet Jesus considers it obvious that we should have already been thinking this way.

In the place where those who condemn David would feel most sure of themselves, Jesus considers their thinking to be perfectly the opposite of what is clearly taught by the scripture.

Even though the scripture did not “condone” it, it simply said that David did it.

If you had been there when Jesus said this, what would you have said?

Many would have said, “The Bible only records David’s actions, it does not condone them. We cannot use David’s actions as a guide for our life or our understanding of the scriptures.”

The Pharisees would have loved that.
