Even though we’re not commanded to keep Hanukkah, I celebrate in my home as another way to draw my family into Torah life. I so want them to keep Torah with me! So once again, I’m preparing for Hanukkah, trying to walk the line between keeping things fun and Torah focused, while not crossing over into “a Christmas of a different color.” Can anyone else relate?

Yes, it's a line I've walked for years. My kids are getting older now, so some of it is pared down. But there are traditions that we continue to enjoy. For instance, every year 1 night is set aside as 'personal miracle' night. We turn off the lights and gather around our wood stove and share our family and personal testimonials of witnessing the hand of Yah in our own lives. Like the retelling of old Biblical stories, younger generations need to know the power of Yah is not limited to pages in history. That's just one of the things we keep doing.

Shalom, Channukah means dedication, even Shlomo (Solomon) dedicated the temple to Yah so Channukah yourselves to Yah

I am in the process of figuring it out too. Lots of prayer on it. I read a great article by Tom Bradford (Torah Class) and he did a great job of explaining that YHVH never commanded it so it is not a requirement but we did see Yeshua participate. Clearly He had no issue with it. I am flying to OK to celebrate with a friend this year, not sure if I will bring it into my home next year. Yah will lead.

Shalom everyone! May YAHWEH bless you. I would like to ask you a question on a subject that personally scares me a lot ; covid vaccine. I took 1 of the 3 injections. (I called my doctor and said I was giving up the other 2 doses). And I'm not going to excuse myself with anything, I was just scared for being severe asthmatic since I was born. my question is ; Is the vaccine the mark of the beast? Many have told me no, others say it is the 3 doses. I really don't know what to think and it scares me. and many times I feel ashamed to pray to Abba because I think Abba may see me as an abomination because of the vaccine. Could someone please speak to me with the light of truth? thanks in advance :raised-hands:

I took the first two. I did not believe it was the mark. Now I’ve been scared to death about it after hearing so many say it is, and will not get the third (booster) or any others. I did end up catching Covid 4-1/2 mos later and recovered at home just fine. Don’t let shame keep you from turning to Yah. That’s what the devil wants.

There's a lot of debate on whether it is the mark of the beast, I completely understand the fear in why you and many others have taken the vaccine. Whether it is the mark or not, it at least is a step in that direction. No one can prove 100% that it is...but, because it is within the "trials"...there is always a control group of people who get a placebo dose. You can pray that what you received was just placebo and not the mrna . One thing that is important to understand...is that Yah put his signature (his name) within your DNA..there are 4 enzymes that make up the strand of DNA and funny enough they have the amount of 10,5,6,5 (YHWH) in the Hebrew AlephBet. When you have men creating things that can potentially alter your DNA....It puts another authorship on you. Just something to consider. My prayers are with you
