The new moon was sighted Sunday evening March 30, 2025 by my wife and several witnesses in Israel and the United States. This makes March 31, 2025 the first day of the biblical New Year. Passover begins the evening of April 13, 2025. The first day of Passover is April 14, 2025.

The New Crescent Moon was sighted in Israel this evening, along with multiple teams of witnesses also sighting Aviv stage barley in the fields, making this the beginning of the first month of the festival year, Rosh Chodesh Aviv.



The Rosh Chodesh was sighted on 3/30/2025, from:

· Jerusalem at 7:13pm by Devorah Gordon, followed by Gil Ashendorf, Ori, and Chaya

· Maale Adummim at 7:05 by Roy Hoffman

· Kiryat Ata at 7:09 by Ephraim Amnon

· Near Beeri at 7:14pm by Y.M.

· Tiberias at 7:15pm by Dennis Chkolnik

· Be’er Yaakov at 7:35pm by Natan Freeman

(Because of this sighting, the first night of Passover will be on 4/13/2025 at sunset. This is NOT the same as the mainstream Rabbinical calendar which declared its New Moon a day earlier, according to Talmudic decree, when there was absolutely no New Moon in the sky)

Especially for anyone new to a Messianic path we can not recommend this book enough - Time Is the Ally of Deceit by Richard Rives.

If you have just begun to question this will help you find what to look for.

One of the most important points of The Path is to understand that indeed Time Is the Ally of Deceit.

Time changes what people believe is true and unless we can go back and learn what was and what changed and when and why and how, we can never understand how far off we are from true in our time.

Unfortunately the website where this book was available (toolong.com) is no longer up but copies can still be found on eBay for cheap. About $16. Occasionally copies appear on ThriftBooks aswell. Best to avoid Amazon as the book is oddly listed for $160.

And if you are not new we still recommend keeping a copy around for those who are.
