Has God rejected the Jews? The apostate Israelites of Elijah's day didn't stop being Israel because they were apostate. God always preserves a remnant of the natural descendants of Jacob and, through them, the whole nation. Nor can he reject his covenant with them. There is only one party that is pro-life, pro-Yisra'el, pro-family, pro-law and order, pro-women and children, pro-freedom of speech and personal safety, and pro-religious freedom - the Republican party.

I don't see any passage anywhere in the Bible that says to do nothing, surrender the country and the world to the wicked, and wait for the Messiah.
If you are a follower of the Messiah, you are the LIGHT of the world. Let your light so shine, speak to power (VOTE), shape the culture! Mosheh did, and the prophets, and Sovereigness Ester, and Yohanan the immerser, and Yeshua - need I go on? May Yeshua find you working when He comes!

Abram was already very wealthy before he left Haran for Canaan.
Poverty isn't inherently more spiritual or godly than wealth. We're all called to holiness. For some of us, that may mean giving up material possessions, but not for most. God calls us where we are and gives us resources to accomplish his goals. For a few of us, that may mean keeping material possessions and gaining even more, like Abraham.
Abraham was a rich, polygamous, slave-owning vigilante (by some metrics), yet he was still called the "Friend of God".
God isn't PC.
God doesn't give direction without also providing the means to take his directions. Let me tell you about an incident in my life where God gave some clear direction and then removed all the barriers to make it possible...
