Proverbs 23:17 — 18, “Don’t envy sinners. But always respect the Lord. If you do, you will have hope for the future. Your wishes will come true.” (ICB) Of course the original doesn’t read that our wishes will come true, it tells us that our hope will remain. Our hope for a better future, our hope for a better world is what we desire.

Prayer is the deliberate and persevering action of the soul. It is true and enduring, and full of grace. Prayer fastens the soul to Elohiym and make it one with His will.

The end for the lost
Although it's a long drive, my wife and I were able to go to Jacob's Tent this Sabbath. I took a moment to share a little bit about forgiveness there when I had the microphone. My friend Tuck spoke a bit as well. We haven't stayed for the midrash in the past all the time but today we decided to and it was good.
