"Knowledge shall be increase..."
One of the greatest "evidences" that I hear for this generation to be the one living in the #endtimes is Daniel 12:4 as technology is developing so quickly:
"But thou, O Daniel, shut up the words, and seal the book, even to the time of the end: many shall run to and fro, and knowledge shall be increased."
How do we know that knowledge is growing so rapidly now, but that it will never again grow faster than at this point in time? If we look at past major leaps in technological developments then any of these generations could have thought the same.
30BC - 500AD - During the Roman period, roads were built (which some people still drive on), the postal service created and many libraries created.
1400's - the printing press
1600's - telescope
1700's - steam engine and telegraph
1800's - light bulb, telephones and cars
1900's - micro computing, fiber optics, etc.
During each of these generations they could have easily assumed that they were the final generation as the latest technology changed their world forever.
What if human implanted computers is the next big leap in the next generation and human hybrids thereafter the next big thing?
But, what if the knowledge referred to isn't secular knowledge, but referring to knowledge of the Word?
What are your thoughts on this?
