What does God think about us when we show little appreciation for the things He has done for us? The story of Israel in the wilderness gives us some answers to that question. Barry Phillips and David Jones investigate those answers and make some applications for us in this penetrating discussion.

This evening at sunset is the start of Tabernacles. I really like this time. I used to set up a couple big tents with a large tarp over them and had a full kitchen in there and huge double thick size air mattress. My wife and I could live in there in comfort. I know it's not what the original sukkah was but it helps when you're as old as I am. Lol I just hope our father in heaven allows it. This year we have considered using the camping trailer. I know it's not as flimsy a shelter as a booth that they used to make when Israel fled Egypt. So hopefully the father will be gracious toward us.
It's a shame to see the way the world is going. People just don't seem to care. I see it in the way people drive and what they do. One of the things I see often is people pulling onto the wrong side of the street to turn and if somebody blows their horn at them even though they're in the wrong they think the people who are in the right are wrong. It's a very sad state of affairs. I am reminded of the passage in Scripture that says, blessed are the peacemakers or there is this the kingdom of heaven. And it's hard to practice and hard to overlook some things but it seems like Elohim has been putting me to the test more in recent days.
