Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob always lived as strangers in their own land. That's actually a good thing. Assimilation into the local, Canaanite culture would have been a disaster. God wants us to be separate from the world, but separateness isn't the point. Service, justice, obedience, and the Gospel: these are the point.

#memes Hi guys, thought I’d make a couple of biblical memes to put some smiles on y’alls faces. Enjoy!
For the lips of a forbidden woman drip honey, and her speech is smoother than oil, but in the end she is bitter as wormwood, sharp as a two-edged sword.
Proverbs 5:3-4
This principle applies in all kinds of relationships, not just male-female. Don't bind yourself to anyone without thoroughly knowing that person's character and don't trust only your own experience. Seek counsel.
Proverbs 14:12 YLT There is a way -- right before a man, And its latter end [are] ways of death.
Matthew phbt 7:14 How narrow is the gate and strict the way that leads to life, and few are those who find it!
15 Beware of false Prophets who come to you in lambs' clothing, but from within they are plundering wolves.
16 But by their fruit you will know them. Do they gather grapes from thorns or figs from thistles?
17 So every good tree produces good fruit, but a bad tree produces bad fruit.
2 peter 3: 14 Therefore beloved, as you expect these things, take pains that you shall be found without spot and without defect before him in peace.
15 And you shall consider that the patience of THE LORD YEHOVAH is salvation, just as our beloved brother Paul wrote to you, according to the wisdom that was given to him,
16 Just as in all of his letters he spoke about these things, in which are things difficult for the intellect, which those who are without teaching and unstable, pervert, as also the other Scriptures, to their own destruction.
17 You therefore, beloved, as you have known beforehand, guard your souls, lest you go after the deception of those who are without The Law and you fall from your own stability.
18 But grow in grace and in the knowledge of Our Lord and Our Savior, Yeshua The Messiah, and of God The Father, to whom the glory is now and always, even to the days of eternity. Amen.
john 14:6 Yeshua said to him, "I AM THE LIVING GOD, The Way and The Truth and The Life; no man comes to my Father but by me alone."
Romans 10:9 And if you will confess with your mouth Our Lord Yeshua, and you will believe in your heart that God has raised him from the dead, you shall have life.
luke 13:3 No, but I say to you, all of you also shall likewise be destroyed unless you repent.
