Conflict between people destroys, yet competition can build when applied properly. Ecclesiastes 4:4, “I saw that all labor and success spring from a man’s envy of his neighbor. This too is futile and a pursuit of the wind.” When envy is the cause of success it causes conflict, but when competition that builds each other up to be the best we can be is healthy. When children play games they build thinking skills and physical skills, they also learn about being part of a team and helping each other be better at what they are doing. conflict destroys because one places self above all else.

Responding to Abba at All Times
Throughout our lives, we will experience both suffering and joy. We will have times of great grief and times of overflowing happiness. Sometimes, they’ll be separate seasons—but sometimes these experiences come together.
In either case, James expected Disciples to come to Abba. If someone was suffering, prayer was the call to action. If someone was cheerful, people were to praise Abba.
This might seem obvious, but when suffering clouds our thinking, we can sometimes forget to prioritize prayer. And when things are going well and we are cheerful, it’s easy to just enjoy our season and not think to praise Adonai for it. But every season of life is actually just an opportunity to put into practice what James wrote about…
When we are suffering, let us pray. When those around us are suffering, let us pray. When we are cheerful or happy, let us praise Adonai. When others are happy, let us praise Adonai with them. In every circumstance or situation, let’s go to Adonai with everything, and trust Him with everything.
When we do that, we keep our eyes on Yeshua, and He helps us endure every situation we face.
So what are you facing right now? Take a moment to pray to Adonai and tell Him all you’re going through. Then, reflect on the good things happening in your life, and tell God, “Thank You.”
Small Straws by Marsha Burns
Position yourself in a way that will allow you to receive My perspective and wisdom in every situation and circumstance. Let Me lead you in the way of righteousness, peace and joy, says the Lord. Be sensitive to the conviction that comes when you deviate from the path that I have set you on, and be ready to punish disobedience by being obedient to My leading.
“But if we are walking in the light, as he is in the light, then we have fellowship with each other, and the blood of his Son Yeshua purifies us from all sin.”
1 Yochanan (1 Jo) 1:7 CJB

Is it just me or are the days getting shorter or time passing quicker?
Prep day feels more like "catch-up day" as I rush to get priority task of the week completed before the next week starts as there just isn't enough time in the 6 work days each week. ?
The list just gets longer every week...
