Are you an unwitting victim of improper translation? Genesis 4:4 for instance uses the word offering in most translations, however this has been misinterpreted as sacrifice by many people. The word Hebrew word used can also mean gift or tribute. This mistranslation or misinterpretation has caused far too much confusion and causes us to focus on the tribute rather than the heart of the brothers. Able’s heart was to please the Creator bringing the best of the best while Cain was content with doing the least he could do. Our Creator offers us His best and desires our best in return. We often miss the grace offered to Cain, Genesis 4:7, “If you do what is right, will you not be accepted?”

Healing Promise:
[Be anxious for nothing but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to YHVH; and the peace of YHVH, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Moshiach Yeshua] -- Philippians 4:6-7.
Healing Prayer:
My heavenly Abba, I thank You for Your Word, which is a lamp unto my feet and a light unto my path. Enable me to walk in the light of Your Word at all times. As I do so, I realize that I will never have to worry again. Instead, through prayer and supplication with thanksgiving, I will let my requests be made known unto You. Thank You for Your wonderful promise to let Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, keep my heart and mind through Yeshua Moshiach. I claim that promise of my thought life now Abba. Thank You for bringing me up out of the horrible pit in which I found myself, out of the miry clay and for setting my feet upon the solid rock of Your Word. In so doing Abba, You have helped me establish my thoughts. Indeed, I have discovered that You are my refuge and strength, a very present help to me in times of trouble. Thank You Abba. I rejoice in Your great faithfulness to me Abba, for I know that You are establishing me and You are keeping me from all evil. Thank You my mighty YHVH. Help me to walk worthy of You unto all pleasing. Help me to be fruitful in every good work. Help me to increase in my knowledge of You. Strengthen me with all might, according to Your glorious power, unto all patient and long suffering with joyfulness. Eternal YHVH, You are my refuge and underneath me are Your everlasting arms, supporting me. Thank You for establishing my thoughts according to Your Word. My YHVH, You are my strength. You are making my feet like hinds’ feet and encouraging me to walk upon high places without fear. You are my confidence my Abba and I know You will help me keep my footing. Thank You for giving me perfect peace, as I keep my mind stayed upon You and continue to trust in You. In Yeshua Name I pray, amen.
Saying that obedience is "checking boxes" rather than "a relationship" makes no sense. Did not your mother teach you that slow and grudging obedience is disobedience, that obeying heartily is actual obedience?
