Exodus 4:14, “Then the anger of the LORD burned against Moses, and He said, “Is not Aaron the Levite your brother? I know that he can speak well, and he is now on his way to meet you. When he sees you, he will be glad in his heart.” Sometimes we are introduced to people in the Bible in a strange way. Moses life is told with no mention of his brother until this verse. That would mean that Aaron was also one of the boys that escaped the fate of Pharaoh.
Notch another win for the Torah.
When you are keeping the commandments of YHWH you can’t manage to buy shrimp that may be radioactive…because you already react to all shrimp always as being radioactive.
True YHWH never actually comes right out and says that certain creatures are environmental trash cans. He doesn’t bother to inform us that these beasts possess transferable parasites and eat garbage and all manner of toxins and every kind of refuse. He only says that we are to refuse them; because He is YHWH, and we are His people.
He tells us we are holy if we dont eat these things. But never really a mention why.
YHWH promises to miraculously provide healing for His people if we keep His commands in general over all, but it can not be avoided noticing that some of those most prominent commandments include avoiding the consumption of certain creatures.
He is YHWH, we are His people, and He says His people don’t eat those things: those facts should be all we need to know to act appropriately in approaching or avoiding what the world (and the Church) calls food…but which the Bible calls abomination.
But if you need more, now we happen to know the instincts and habits of these animals the Almighty forbade for us to feast upon. We know how they devour other animals and dead bodies and feces and toxic waste. We know they serve to clean up the creation and that alone aught to remain their purpose.
YHWH may not have informed us that eating clean will keep us from disease but He did tell us that keeping all His commands (which would include clean eating) will keep us disease free.

Thought for Today: Friday August 29
All through the Bible we see YHVH’s patience and perseverance as He pursues misguided and obstinate people… Men and women who were born to a high destiny as His sons and daughters, but who strayed from His side. From Genesis to Revelation YHVH is constantly saying: “Return to Me, and I will return to you.” No matter how far you have strayed, YHVH still loves you, and He wants to welcome you home – forever.
