Daily Prayer
Blessed are You Adonai YHVH Most High, Who has promised us Your salvation through the prophets and that in You we will find healing and peace. We come to You Abba for in our coming we turn away from the darkness and enter into the light of Your presence and Your love. Mighty Creator, King and Saviour, we pray for Your people throughout this world, that it may witness to You, not only in word but also in deed. May all believers reflect Your love for the world and show Your acceptance and forgiveness for all people. We bring before You all who are persecuted for their faith in You and all who are prisoners of conscience. We bring to You all who are oppressed by tyranny or evil. And we pray for those who are driven out of their homes and who have been separated from their loved ones. We ask for Your blessings on all who suffer from poverty or hunger and all who are caught up in war or live in fear of terrorism. We give thanks for those who have taught us the faith by example of the way they live. Teach us also to be a good example to others. Adonai, bless our homes and our loved ones with the light of Your presence. We ask that You bless all who are struggling in their relationships and those whose minds are full of doubt. Adonai, we come to You for renewal and healing, for strength and for light. We ask Your blessings on all who suffers from a disability or who are ill at this time. We think of those who are blind, deaf or lame and those who suffer from a sinful leper nature. Not only disabilities of the body but also of the spirit. We pray for all those who have lost loved ones recently and for those who are caring for the terminally ill. We give thanks for Your renewing powers and that You give us life and life eternal. We keep in our minds and our prayers all our friends, families and loved ones who are departed from us. May they rejoice in the fullness of life and in the glory of Your presence. Come O Adonai, for our hope is in you. Abba, accept these prayers for the sake of Your Son, our Saviour Yeshua Moshiach, amen.

2 Kings 17:41, “So these nations worshiped the LORD but also served their idols, and to this day their children and grandchildren continue to do as their fathers did.” Matthew 6:24, “No one can serve two masters: Either he will hate the one and love the other, or he will be devoted to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve both God and money.” You can not worship or serve the Creator in sin. Without repentance there is no forgiveness.

Planning Ahead
Think about your upcoming plans for the day, week, year, and beyond.
Maybe you want to start a business.
Maybe you want to raise a family.
Maybe you want to write a book.
Maybe you want to travel the world.
Maybe you want to start a ministry.
Maybe you want to volunteer in your city.
Maybe you want to plant a garden.
Maybe you want to pay off debt.
Scripture tells us …
“Many are the plans in a person’s heart, but it is the Lord’s purpose that prevails.”
Proverbs 19:21 NIV
Making plans isn’t a bad thing. In fact, the Bible tells us that we will harvest what we plant (Galatians 6:7), so we should be diligent—not lazy—to wisely prepare for the future. But we must simultaneously hold those plans loosely, because Abba knows the full picture of our lives.
Abba is always working in and through His people, giving them the desire and power to do what pleases Him (Philippians 2:13). But sometimes, we require rerouting. Sometimes what we want isn’t in His plan.
But even when we don’t get what we’ve hoped for, He always has our good and His glory in mind.
Yeshua modeled how to surrender His own plans by literally giving His life up for us—for our freedom. And, even though it wasn’t easy, our lives and our futures look different because Abba’s purpose prevailed.
So today, make a list of some of your plans and dreams. Then hold your hands out in front of you, and visualize giving all of your dreams and plans over to Abba. Picture all of those plans evaporating from your hands. Then, ask Abba to show you which plans He wants to give back to you and if there are any new dreams He’s longing for you to receive.
