Thought for Today: Tuesday November 01:

May you make up your mind today to persevere and not to quit. May you refuse to be bullied by your fears or diminished by your insecurities. May you rise up this morning in the knowledge that Elohiym created a masterpiece when He made you! May you embrace Grace to abound in every good work in spite of enemy opposition. Overwhelming victory belongs to you because you belong to Him. Walk with and in feisty faith today! YHVH is with you!

Abram did not know where he was going when he left Haran. God didn't even tell him the name of the place. God said go, so Abram went.

Truly, I say to you, this generation will not pass away until all has taken place. Heaven and earth will pass away, but my words will not pass away.

This statement was not intended as another sign for determining the end of the age and the beginning of the Kingdom, but as a reassurance that God will preserve a remnant of Israel through all tribulations because he promised that he would. If Yeshua's word can pass away, so can the generation (the line of Jacob) of Israel.

"Whoever loves father or mother more than me..."

Abraham's first test of faith was the command to leave his home and people for the sake of God's Promise. At some point, we must all pass this test.
