Our friend Batya Wootten is in need of help for extensive dental work. She has given much over the years to all of us. We at BYNA regard her and Angus, her husband of blessed memory, as pioneers in the Torah Awakening that is so important to the restoration of all Israel. The Maacathites and Geshurites lived to the northeast of Israel, scattered within and on the frontiers of Manasseh. They remained distinct peoples at least through the reign of David who fought wars against both kingdoms. After being subjugated by David, they were either completely absorbed by Israel or by Assyria after his death.
