Genesis 1;27, “So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them.” This verse simply tells us that we are designed in the image of our Creator. Does that mean we physically look like our Creator? Maybe, but it goes farther than that. Genesis 2; 7, “And the Lord God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul.” Moses writes this is how our Creator accomplished putting us together. There is a difference between design and build. This doesn’t mean it took a lot of time for our “build out” it means that our design was in the mind of our Creator and our actual physical build comes from the breath of our Creator.
