We often tend to confuse our needs with our wants... When this happens, we step out of line and out of the will of the Creator!!
When this happens, it usually doesn't take long for us to realise that we have wondered off on the wrong path... We then need to make teshuvah to get back on the right path again!!

Numbers 13; 26—27, “And they went and came to Moses, and to Aaron, and to all the congregation of the children of Israel, unto the wilderness of Paran, to Kadesh; and brought back word unto them, and unto all the congregation, and shewed them the fruit of the land. And they told him, and said, We came unto the land whither thou sentest us, and surely it floweth with milk and honey; and this is the fruit of it.” When the spies returned to Moses, they showed the goodness that the land had to offer. They had been in the land forty days and gathered a great amount of information and brought proof of how abundant the land was. Their faith however was challenged by the people they interacted with. Instead of choosing to be a representative of the Creator, the spies chose to be afraid of the strange things they observed. They allowed their fear control their faith.
