Whether a person or a house, tzaraat (biblical leprosy) and uncleanness requires isolation. (See Leviticus 14:38, for example.) Those who sin openly, flagrantly, can't be tolerated in the congregation. You're not doing anyone any favors by letting them hang around and poison everyone else.
Those who sin through ignorance or who are striving to do what's right, don't want to sin and are probably good people. Be patient and kind. Don't rush to judgment. #torah
Homeschooling Torah members:
Here at HomeschoolingTorah, we have our own Passover tradition. We will soon be hosting our 8th annual Passover Art Contest!
This year's theme is "Hosanna."
We look forward to seeing how your children are creative with this theme! Start by reading Matthew 21, Mark 11, and John 12. Why did the people shout "Hosanna" when Yeshua rode a donkey into Jerusalem? On what day of the month did this happen? (the 10th day of the 1st month) Who were they saying that Yeshua was?
Encourage your children to make sketches, paintings, or other kinds of artwork to illustrate what they have learned. Computer artwork is okay, too!
Scan the drawings or take a picture of them, and email them to us by Monday, April 25. Note that this contest is open to current members only.
This year we'll be awarding a prize for three different age categories:
Ages 0-9 - $10 Amazon gift card
Ages 10-15 - $10 Amazon gift card
Ages 16-19 - $15 Amazon gift card
You can also click here to go back in time and enjoy the entries from 2021, 2020, 2018, 2017, 2016, 2015, and 2014.

Have fun! Use your talents for Him!
Biblical tzaraat (usually erroneously translated as leprosy) is a metaphor for sin. Some sin is visible, but not deep, while other sin goes all the way down to the bone/heart.

~Moses pointed to the Covenant of Promise~
Deuteronomy 4:27-31
27 And YHWH will scatter you among the peoples, and you will be left few in number among the nations where YHWH will drive you.
28 And there you will serve gods, the work of men’s hands, wood and stone, which neither see nor hear nor eat nor smell.
29 But from there you will seek YHWH your God, and you will find Him if you seek Him with all your heart and with all your soul.
30 When you are in distress, and all these things come upon you -- in the latter days --, when you turn to YHWH your God and obey His voice (Exodus 20→ Deuteronomy 4:11,12→ 5:22)
31 (for YHWH is a merciful God), He will not forsake you nor destroy you, nor forget → the covenant of your fathers ← which He swore to them.
“He will not forsake you nor destroy you, nor forget the covenant of your fathers”
This reminds me of what Paul said in Galatians 3:17
What I mean is this: The law that came 430 years later does not revoke the covenant previously established by God, so as to nullify the promise.” ← (The Covenant of Promise, the Covenant of their fathers)
Psalm 105:7-10
7 He is YHWH our God;
His judgments are in all the earth.
8 He remembers His covenant forever,
The word which He commanded, for a thousand generations,
9 The covenant which He made with Abraham
(The Covenant of Promise)
And His oath to Isaac,
10 And confirmed it to Jacob for a statute,
To Israel as an everlasting covenant
This IS the Covenant of your Fathers (Abraham, Isaac and Jacob)
Genesis 12: 2,3
I will make you a great nation;
I will bless you
And make your name great;
And you shall be a blessing.
3 I will bless those who bless you,
And I will curse him who curses you;
And in you all the families of the earth shall be blessed.”
Galatians 3: 16-18, 26-29
16 Now to Abraham and his Seed were the promises made. He does not say, “And to seeds,” as of many, but as of one, “And to your Seed,” who is Messiah.
(again)
17 And this I say, that the law, which was four hundred and thirty years later, cannot annul the covenant that was confirmed before by God in Messiah, that it should make the promise of no effect.
18 For if the inheritance is of the law, it is no longer of promise; but God gave it to Abraham by promise.
Continuing...
26 For you are all sons of God through faith in Yeshua Messiah.
27 For as many of you as were baptized into Messiah have put on Messiah.
28 There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither slave nor free, there is neither male nor female; for you are all one in Yeshua Messiah.
29 And if you are Messiah’s, then you are Abraham’s seed, and heirs according to the promise.
Acts 3:22-26
22 For Moses truly said to the fathers, ‘YHWH your God will raise up for you a Prophet like me from your brethren. Him you shall hear in all things, whatever He says to you.
23 And it shall be that every soul who will not hear that Prophet shall be utterly destroyed from among the people.’ (Exodus 18:15-19)
24 Yes, and all the prophets, from Samuel and those who follow, as many as have spoken, have also foretold these days.
25 You are sons of the prophets, and of the covenant ~>which God made with our fathers, saying to Abraham, ‘And in your seed all the families of the earth shall be blessed.’
26 To you first, God, having raised up His Servant Yeshua, sent Him to bless you, in turning away every one of you from your iniquities.”
THE SEED IS THE COVENANT GIVEN:
Isaiah 42:6 (also in Isaiah 49:8)
6 “I, YHWH, have called You in righteousness,
And will hold Your hand;
I will keep You and give You as a covenant to the people,
As a light to the Gentiles,
7 To open blind eyes,
To bring out prisoners from the prison,
Those who sit in darkness from the prison house.”
Thank you Father for sending us Your Word, Messiah, to redeem us (for “WHOSOEVER believes”) to open our blind eyes, setting us free from captivity and bringing us into the Covenant of our Fathers (We’ve been adopted!- Ephesians 1:5) by Messiah’s blood!
