Don't allow people or their children to mock, disrespect, or ridicule or even disagree with your parenting in front of your children/teens. Parenting is hard enough without our children hearing others mock us. Instead we must build up parents to their children. Tell kids and teens how terrific their parents are. You don't have to agree with all of their parenting choices to do this. If you disagree with something, just leave it. So what? We all disagree with each other on stuff. Do NOT mock or voice that disagreement in front of their children or allow your kids to mimic you in doing so, too. The world is out to undermine parental authority. We, as believers, should be helping one another establish parental authority and wisdom. You shouldn't even mock adults, but definitely not in front of their children. Bear good fruit.
