A #chiasm in #numbers 4-7 is centered on the grain offering in the trial of the woman suspected of adultery. It highlights a set-apart people, a jealous God, and a merciful judge. God truly is merciful and eager to forgive, but that doesn't mean we don't still need to work toward greater obedience. God doesn't expect us to be perfect, but He still expects us to try. Efforts at holiness mitigate failures.

As Torah believers we must understand that Yahshua never and I mean never came to go against, undue YHWH'S laws and commandments. The sun god pagan system teaches that by twisting Paul's teachings. YHWH never said, the prophets never said, the Messiah never said he came to go against or undue what YHWH commands. As a matter of fact Yahshua said he came to do the will of his YHWH not his own will. See John 6:38

The quantities and materials of the chiefs' gifts in Numbers 7 are all significant, even if we don't have a full understanding of them today.

Scripture gives us many hints as to what these things mean, but rarely spells it out. Flour and oil is flesh and spirit. Silver is atonement and blood. Incense is prayer. The bull, ram, and sheep might be an allusion to the three patriarchs. The two peace offerings could be an allusion to Moses and Aaron, two witnesses to the covenant represented in the Tabernacle. etc

There are small, poetic chiasms throughout Scripture. Here's one in Numbers 7:10.

-A- Chiefs make offerings for the dedication of the altar
---B- On the day it was anointed
-A- Chiefs make offerings before the altar

Do you believe the earth is flat or ovoid?

No arguments, please. 0)

If you don't think it matters, that's fine, but it's not the question. I'm just trying to get a more objective measure of what people in the Torah community actually believe, as opposed to what people say they believe.

The earth is flat.
The earth is ovoid (roundish).
I don't know.

May I throw in a spanner in the works as I have looked at both sides of the argument?

My view is that the earth is 4th (or higher) dimensional and that we are experiencing it as three dimensional. This for me is the only reason why both flat and ball earth observations and maths can be proven true/false.

It is like describing a three dimensional object to a two dimensional being. Each time a slice of the three dimensional object intersects into the two dimensional sphere, the observer "experiences" the three dimensional object as a different shape.

If you are interested then I can use more words to describe my thinking, but I didn't want to bore the people who are only interested in your poll.
