Thought for Today: Sunday June 12:

May you have the wisdom to run away from temptation and run into the arms of YHVH Elohim. May you know when to run to the battlefield and when to hide in His shadow. May you have the courage to run up the mountain and the guts to step out of the boat when it is required of you. May your every step be in step with Yeshua and may you be His Disciple and follow His example. May your experiences increase in every way. May your capacity to know the heights of YHVH’s Love grow exponentially. May your understanding of the depths of His faithfulness grow continually. May your belief in your divine value deepen tremendously. And in the days ahead, may your willingness to trust YHVH with every detail of your life change profoundly. You are deeply loved, deeply called and profoundly cared for. May you live out of this truth. May you have a great, peaceful, joyful, blessed and exciting day.

Is the Jewish Calendar Wrong? | DISCOVER | First Fruits of Zion

Some teachers in the Hebrew Roots movement attempt to persuade people to abandon the Jewish reckoning of the biblical calendar and adopt an alternative calendar. They perceive their interpretation of the calendar and how to reckon the lunar year to b

There are some things we do in our faith that come directly from the Torah but sound "Jewish". There are also a whole lot of big things in Christianity that come from Judaism which one would never imagine. I give a brief account of these in this message. I also address, very strongly, a problem in our common faith with respect to salvation by works. I hope you find time to check this one out and even share it with your friends! It's quite eye opening! https://firstcenturychristiani....ty.net/rabbinic-or-n

HELLO ALL! I have been thinking about the journeys we all go through in life, and how our Creator uses those challenges to open doors for us to serve other people. Whether you have a BUSINESS, a MINISTRY, or any other label there may be... I WOULD LOVE TO hear your "elevator speech" about what you do and why?

Shalom sister. And yes I second that this is a great conversation starter. As far as what I do for work. I am a manager of small construction business, more specifically what I do is meetings with clients. Estimates/quotes for projects. Pretty much everything involved with the sell of a job from start to finish. Things were tough the first year of shutdowns when the government decided to use the virus as an excuse to destroy the economy. However, for those of us that are the lost sheep of Israel, The Most High יהוה promised us a hedge of protection if we stay in obedience to his Torah. So, He has provided all our needs to this day. As far as ministry, this is a very long story so I’ll keep it short. I have been practicing and keeping the Torah of The Most High for about twenty years. I was networking with a couple Hebrew Israelite ministries at that time. Roughly about 15 years ago I was ordained an elder of that fellowship by a group of the elders in those ministries I was associated with. About ten years ago that congregation separated or ended, sadly this happened because most of the people backslid. Since then, I am still doing the same thing as far as ministry, we have a much smaller congregation now then we did back then.
We meet every Shabbat for teaching of the scriptures, fellowship and we worship the Father.
We also meet regularly on Wednesday for mid-week fellowship, this is an open forum hangout where everyone gets to talk about whatever topic from the scriptures they to talk about.
