I am back in my beloved Uganda! On Friday, after I taught at the Kaliro congregation (gathered under the village tree), 16 people prayed for salvation. Today, Saturday, I met with the congregation in Wairaka (standing in front of house). Afterwards, Fazira, Musumba, Eric and I met with Margaret (center), one of the clan leaders who has cruelly tormented Fazira (left) and her family for years. Today, Margaret prayed for salvation and became a daughter of the King.
WE NEED BIBLES!!! These new believers need access to the Scripture. Lugandan Bibles are $12/ea, $288/case of 24. Please consider equipping the saints.
Being in the world and not of it is an easy game to play as long as the world system allows us to mimic the Kingdom of Heaven. The façade inevitably wears away, though, and we have to make a choice. That’s when those who opt to run after the Kingdom of Heaven become the outcasts of society, while the rest continue to run after whatever new normal brings a new illusion of peace and safety. Everyone experiences pain in this process, but some will have joy in the end.

RemnantResilience
It was recommended to me by a family friend's widow. She lost her husband a very good friend of mine right before the pandemic was made official. They were married since I was a child, and he was her rock, she has taken it as well as you would expect. We were talking and she brought it up, I told her I would give it a watch. She is non-practicing catholic but has noticed many contradictions and has many questions. While it is not a replacement for scripture I was curious to see how well it represented scripture and Hebrew culture/idioms.
