People typically don’t engage in normal conversation on the topic of ‘evil’, although maybe a glancing discussion when they see something in a news headline or a movie/TV show that portrays something as they perceive as evil. But, do you know how much ‘evil’ is written about in your Bible? Do you know what the true, scriptural definition of ‘evil’ is? How does this knowledge affect your walk of faith.
Rabbi Steve Berkson is one of the small few that would take on the challenge of teaching from scripture about the topic of ‘evil’. You will be amazed and often surprised as Rabbi Berkson dissects the verses from the Bible, one-by-one if necessary, to teach what has been revealed to him and how these revelations will definitely impact your life – both physically and spiritually.
Rabbi Berkson decides to start from the beginning, in the book of Genesis, as he has done in other teachings, to provide a comprehensive understanding of this topic.

Shalom Shalom family ?
As we start our day with joy and gladness, let us remember to give thanks for our blessings prepared in advance.
Our Heavenly Father and great I Am, we come in this day to bring You all of us in Thanksgiving for Your goodness, kindness and Amazing love. Thank You for our sparing life and all we have received. We can't count our blessings as Your hand as provided even the unseen. Thank You for every ability and giving us opportunities to live to the fullest of Your Glory and Your Name. May our feet be steadfast in our walk with You. May we dance with joy and sing our HalleluYah in this day. Thank You for bringing us in this new season ahead of us. Help us to be prepared for the Passover. Help us to be focused on what Your Word is revealing to us. Thank You for the blessing of our families and all friends. Help the stranger and the lost to be ready for Thy Kingdom to come. Please heal the sick, help the poor and all in distress. Please shield and protect us from Evil. Let Thy Glory reign. Let Thy Kingdom come and will be done on earth as in heaven. Amein
Be blessed and stay blessed ?
Thought for Today: Thursday February 17:
Trust in YHVH one day at a time. This will keep you close to Him and responsive to His Will. Trust is not a natural response, especially for those who have been deeply wounded. His Spirit within you is your Resident Tutor, helping you in this supernatural endeavour. As you wake this morning, yield to His gentle touch, be sensitive to His prompting. Exert your will to trust YHVH in all circumstances. Do not let your need to understand distract you from His Presence. He will equip you to get through this day victoriously, as you live in deep dependence on Him. Remember, tomorrow is busy worrying about itself, don’t get tangled up in its worry-webs. Trust YHVH one day at a time.
I live with a room mate that is #antitorah. It is always a bit unpredictable how #apologetics conversations will go with him. I had one this evening. It started with a conversation about a strained relationship between me and my supervisor who seems to think I am a personal servant 24/7. I gave him my explanation of the situation (a family difficulty, lots of stress, and brings it to work with him) and he asked if I consider Bible memory out of the NT about relationships which I am sure you can see were he was going. I responded by quoting passages from Ephesians, Galatians, Corinthians, Hebrews, Acts, 1 John, Matthew, and Colossians (that instinctively support Torah. And informed him that the OT talks more about relationships than the NT. He wondered if I would consider internalizing it rather than using for intellectual purposes. I asked him if he was willing to do the same. He moved on and mentioned that I seemed to focus on the OT and Torah too much. I said it was perspectual and because he only leans to Paul's letters. He then finished by telling me I should consider what he said. Be praying for him and that I would have wisdom. I have many Russian friends and they have a tendency to ask deep questions and I am catching on and doing the same. I would rather questions that are simple and easy to get to the point.
Now that's a tasty looking dish right there!
This is what we made for dinner -- maple Brussels sprouts with homemade beef bacon, plus roasted chicken and a fresh salad. Get the recipe here...
