n this morning's devotion by the author, he opens with, "One of the starkest realities, that all sober mortals must recognize, is the lack of perfection in our humanity."
How true is that statement? As we draw near to Shavuot and prepare to praise Him and worship Him unhindered, I encourage you to search your hearts and repent of everything that presents a barrier between you and the LORD.

Some people think that marriage is a 50/50 relationship but out is not. If each person only gives 50% the relationship is bound to fail. Each person must give 100% to the relationship and be willing to accept another 100% from the another source. In the secular world that would add up to 300% but when each person gives 100% and our Creator adds His 100% what it adds up to is 1 strong relationship. There is a unique situation in this kind of relationship, when one person isn’t able to give their 100% our Creator gives what they may be missing to the other person so they can make up the difference. They are to give the extra to the other all the while the Creator still has 100%. This is what I call “God math” It breaks the rules of the math we are use to but when the Creator is involved it will work every time.

You may have been on a long uphill journey and you may feel that your energy is almost spent. Though you may have faltered at times, you have not let go of YHVH’s hand. He is pleased with your desire to stay close to Him. BUT there is one thing however, that displeases YHVH; the human tendency to complain. You may talk to Him as much as you like about the difficulties of the path you are following. He understands better than anyone else the stresses and strains that have afflicted you. You can ventilate safely to Him, because talking with Him tempers your thoughts and help you see things from His perspective. Complaining to others is another matter altogether. It opens the door to deadly sins such as self-pity and rage. Whenever you are tempted to grumble, go to Him and talk it out. As you open up to YHVH, He will put His thoughts in your mind and His song in your heart.
