After you read of how Aaron was silent when his sons were destroyed by God for offering unauthorized fire in their censors in Leviticus 10, skip ahead to Revelation 8 and read how there was silence in heaven followed by the smoke of incense offered in the prayers of the saints. In both cases, fire and destruction came from heaven to destroy the disobedient in response to the prayers of God's people. In Leviticus, two of God's own priests were the disobedient ones who were destroyed. Who are the target of God's wrath in Revelation 8:5?

YHVH is the Light of this world. Men go through their lives cursing the darkness but all the while YHVH is shining brightly. He desires that each of His followers be a Light-bearer. Ruach HaKodesh Who lives in you can shine from your face, making YHVH visible to people around you. Asks His Spirit to live through you, as you wend your way through this day. Hold YHVH’s Hand in joyful trust for He will never leave your side. The Light of His Presence is shining upon you. Brighten up the world by reflecting Who He is.
