Thought for Today: Tuesday January 11:
He who would love life and see good days, let him refrain his tongue from evil and his lips from speaking deceit. Let him turn away from evil and do good; let him seek peace and pursue it. -- 1 Peter 3:10,11
Do you want to enjoy life and experience YHVH’s goodness? This verse tells you how:
• Curb your tongue from speaking evil about anyone. Simply never say anything to hurt anyone.
• Refrain from double talk, from shrewd remarks that are designed to advance your interests at someone else’s disadvantage.
• Turn your back upon evil and, in every way possible, do good. Help people and bring blessings into their lives.
• Seek peace on earth and in your own heart; live so that peacefulness may flow from you to others.
Prayers needed that the enemy is prevented from this evil scheme! https://worldisraelnews.com/in....sanity-and-evil-isra
Would really appreciate prayers as I return to work tomorrow. I've been off for nearly 3 weeks with covid pnemonia including a hospital stay. Feeling stronger now but nervous as I have to move in just 3 weeks and don't know how I will cover everything. But I know Abba has a plan and it will be good.
Here's an aspect of the march around Jericho that we seldom consider: At least one of those circuits was on the weekly Sabbath. They weren't laboring at a job or doing business, so I don't think it violated the Sabbath in any meaningful way. The only people who were carrying any burden were the priests, and their burden was shared.
