In Exodus 35, the instructions for #sabbath and donations for the Tabernacle were addressed to the entire population. Moses gathered men, women, and children together to hear the Torah. We all suffer as a result of each other's wickedness and we all benefit from each other's righteous acts, but every individual will still stand before God to answer or be rewarded for his own obedience. #vayakhel

Amen
Nobody is without gifts to use in the service of the Kingdom. Even if you don't have money or great strength, you have faith. An act of faith and love is worth all the gold and silver of the Temple. The lame man in Acts 3 begged for alms because he couldn't work. By faith, Peter gave the man health and the ability to work for his living, a far greater gift than mere silver.
Charity of silver is great. Charity of strength, wisdom, skill, and knowledge is greater. Peter didn't give the beggar the metaphorical fish, he gave him the strength to fish for himself. Restoring a man to proper functioning makes him more completely into the image of God. Healthy, strong people are a testament to God. Acts 3:1-12

As spring cleaning for Passover is coming up, I start to notice the clutter in our home more than usual.
Isn't it amazing how quickly clutter builds up?
Sadly, clutter can affect our mental abilities, too -- and our moods!
At Homeschooling Torah, members can access our free e-book on how to organize their homes. However, it's often difficult to maintain a clutter-free home. Here are some things I've noticed about clutter.

How many times have we lost control of a situation/emotion that we know we could/should have handled better?
The fruit of the Spirit specifically mentions self-control and we need to practice this, then identify what we have control over and what not, and then react appropriately... In other words becoming more like Yeshua every day!!

For when Gentiles, who do not have the law, by nature do what the law requires, they are a law to themselves, even though they do not have the law.
Romans 2:14
Was Paul saying that Gentile converts to Christianity don't need to keep the Law of Moses because they have their own, separate law? Not quite. He was saying that even those Gentiles who have never heard of Moses will still be judged according to what they do understand of the Law, even if they don't know that's what it is.
