I agree totally with the post "Making New Friends". But in my case, I always am careful not to offend the other person and if I do not agree, just to keep quiet. If I am wrong I appreciate it when someone point out the wrong for me so I can correct it. I am not without sin and I am not full of wisdom. Everyday brings something new to learn -- spiritual and physical --- so please feel free to correct me when you see I am stepping of the mark.
Thought for Today: Wednesday March 09:
When satan try to trap Yeshua at the beginning of His Ministry, he used the same temptations he uses today. One trap was the lure of things. Isaiah said: [Listen carefully to me… and let your soul delight itself in abundance – Isaiah 55:2] Yes, delight in abundance -- the abundance YHVH gives you, both material and spiritual. Especially delight in the abundance of joy that comes from His Presence. Satan will try to offer you substitutes --- REFUSE THEM!

Thanks for the add, Kelly. We have owned our home in Michigan about one year, and my husband spent the last year developing our compost and land. He’s almost done with a small greenhouse, and we bought heirloom seeds earlier this winter, so we are eager to get started. (Last frost is the end of May.) We live on 1/3 acre on the edge of town. Our backyard feels like country, but we can’t have animals. Thankfully we have friends we can get eggs from inexpensively, and a local farm where we can get raw milk. We have a good store of grain and like making our own bread. Otherwise, we are just a bunch of computer nerds and writers who are trying to learn to homestead. ??
