How many people have a distinct memory of the first time their prayers were answered?
I'll start.
When I was 5 years old, I really wanted a kitten. My parents not wanting to afford a cat, said "If God sends you one, it's okay with us. '
So I prayed earnestly, and soon a cat showed up. Not a kitten, but she gave birth to 5 kittens shortly thereafter!
Also, to answer my parent's prayers, there was a bumper crop of mice that year and we didn't have to buy cat food for a long, long time. She killed dozens of mice and piled them up by our door.
So there's my first answered prayer! What's yours?
As you enter the house, greet it. And if the house is worthy, let your peace come upon it, but if it is not worthy, let your peace return to you.
Matthew 10:12-13
"If the house is worthy" doesn't refer to a structure, but to the head of the house and those under his authority. To "greet the house" is to accept them as friends and family in Yeshua. Don't accept hospitality and then remain aloof like a traveling judge.
