I have never cared for "rights of passage". It's the idea that if something had a certain level of difficulty for one person then it has to have that difficulty for all. This is similar to begrudging someone for success, particularly success you have yet to attain. Never do this. Yahweh gives and takes away and does all things in due season. We should be happy and give praise that He is in control while also making the paths smoother for those who follow similar paths.
Blessed are You Adonai Eloheinu, for You are our Creator and Redeemer; You are our Strength and our Shield. As You love us with an everlasting love and offer us eternal life, help us to trust in You and in Your grace. Blessed are You our King for You are one. Adonai, help us to love the world with the great love that You have for the world. Guide Your Church that it may keep its priorities and that above all it may seek You and Your will in all that it does. Adonai, increase our faith in You, that we may reveal Your presence in our lives. We ask Your blessing upon all who are suffering for their beliefs or who are struggling with their faith. Avi, we thank You for the beauty of the earth, for the flowers and the birds. We pray for all who seek to conserve and protect the world in which we live. We ask Your blessing upon all who deal with limited resources, upon those who care for fish stocks and those who deal with rainforests. We pray for all people on this planet who are short of food or deprived of proper homes. We give thanks for our lives and Your love towards us. Adonai, bless our families and our friends with Your goodness. May the way we live show our trust in You. Let us not squander or hoard the good things that you have given us but use them to the good and benefit of all. Eloheinu, Owner and Creator of love and peace, we pray for all those people who are weighed down with anxiety or fear. We pray for those who are depressed and all who feel they can no longer cope with life. We ask Your blessing upon all who are ill and all who suffer in any way. May they come to know Your love and Your peace. We give thanks for Your everlasting love and we rejoice in the gift of eternal life. Adonai, we commend to You our friends and loved ones who are departed from us. May they enjoy Your presence and Your love. We commit them and this world and ourselves to Your unfailing presence and peace. Avi, accept our prayer in the Name of Yeshua Moshiach, our Saviour, amein.
There are two Passover-like meals in the story of Sodom: One with Abraham and one with Lot. This parallels the apparent sequence of #Yeshua's last day. He ate Passover at the start of the day (remember that a Hebrew day begins at sunset) and became the Passover at the end of the day.

So the men turned from there and went toward Sodom, but Abraham still stood before YHWH.
#genesis 18:22
Three men appeared to Abraham, but only two arrive at Sodom (Genesis 19:1). Where did the other go?
He stayed behind with his friend, Abraham. They discussed the matter of Sodom and then YHWH "went on his way". Does this mean he followed the other two to Sodom or went on to some other business? Wherever he went, we can be sure from this that God is not the impersonal, mindless force of deism and new age mysticism. He moves about in his Creation and interacts with mankind with intention.

Afterburn: also known in the world of fitness as the “afterburn effect”, simply put; The more intense the exercise, the more oxygen your body consumes afterward.
The same could be true as you build up your spiritual self. After an intense teaching session, you need answers as more thoughts and questions consume you in your spiritual growth.
Rabbi Steve Berkson, director of MTOI, provides an opportunity for the Afterburn to take place by additional thoughts and insight about what he just taught as well as answering questions from the local congregation and those watching the live stream.

"Dazzled by the brilliant achievements of the intellect in science and technique, we have not only become convinced that we are the masters of the earth; we have become convinced that our needs and interests are the ultimate standard of what is right and wrong. Comfort, luxuries, success continually bait our appetites, impairing our vision of that which is required but not always desired. They make it easy for us to grow blind to values. Interests are the value-blind man's dog, his pathfinder and guide." Abraham Heschel, God in Search of Man.
