Joseph was betrayed by his brothers, sold to Egypt (pagans), and thrown in a dungeon (death). He was meek, misunderstood, martyred, without guile or ambition, yet stood before the world as Pharaoh (King). He was accepted by Egypt (the world) as savior and appeared to Israel to be an Egyptian himself. He hid his identity from his brothers until the time was right. When revealed himself to his brothers, the Egyptians heard it and were also astonished to discover the true nature of the savior they thought they knew.

Joseph is a prophetic foreshadowing of #yeshua.

Throughout his ministry, Yeshua refrained from advertising his identity and provided plausible deniability to any who didn't want to believe. When he finally reveals the full reality of his identity and power, everyone will be floored. Literally floored.

5 WAYS ELOHIM SPEAKS TO US EVERY DAY!

1. He speaks in Creation: "For since the creation of the world His invisible qualities have been clearly seen, being understood from what has been made, both His Everlasting Power and Mightiness, for them to be without excuse" (Romans 1:20)
2. Elohim speaks through His Spirit-breathed Word which is ".... for setting straight, for instruction in righteousness, that man of Elohim might be fitted, equipped for every good work" (2 Timothy 3:16-17).
3. He speaks to us through Ruach Kodesh, helping us apply Scripture to each situation in our lives. (John 14:26)
4. Elohim speaks through other believers who help us live in ways that please YHVH. (Titus 2)
5. He speaks through circumstances, opening and closing doors and sometimes using supernatural means. (Acts 16:6-10). But whenever YHVH speaks, He never, never, never disagrees with Scripture, nor does He lead us down selfish, deceptive or godless paths.

IS IT ELOHIM'S VOICE YOU ARE HEARING?

1. Read Romans 1:20 and think about the colours, textures, variety and design of nature. Look for messages of Elohim's divine nature in His Creation.
2. Think and ask Elohim what messages He was sending you in your blessings. James 1:17: Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of Lights, with Whom there is no change, nor shadow of turning.
3. Ask God what messages He was sending in your difficulties, interruptions, and hardships. 1 Peter 1:3-9: Blessed be Elohim and Father of our Master Yeshua Moshiach, Who according to His great compassion has caused us to be born again to a living expectation through the resurrection of Yeshua Moshiach from the dead, to an inheritance incorruptible and undefiled and unfading, having been kept in the heavens for you, who are protect by the Power of Elohim through belief, for a deliverance ready to be revealed in the last time, in which you exult, even though for a little while, if need be, you have been grieved by manifold trials, in order that the proving of your belief much more precious than gold that perishes, and proven by fire -- might be found to result in praise and respect and esteem at the revelation of Yeshua Moshiach, whom having not seen, you love; in Whom you exult with unspeakable and esteemed joy, yet not seeing, but believing, obtaining the goal of your belief; a deliverance of lives

5 WAYS THE EVIL ONE MIMIC ELOHIM:

BEWARE THAT THE EVIL ONE COUNTERFEITS ELOHIM'S VOICE:

1. He speaks by separating creation from Elohim's design, encouraging us to worship creation instead of our Creator, defending animals but not unborn babies, worshiping sex outside Elohim's design, promoting evolution (Romans 1:18-32; 2 Peter 3:3-7)
2. He speaks by misrepresenting Elohim's Word, twisting, cutting, pasting and misusing it (Matthew 4:1-11, especially verse 6).
3. He offers a fake version of godliness, using false definitions of love to persuade us to accept our culture's moral values and do things against Elohim's Word (2 Corinthians 11:3-4).
4. He speaks through people, watering down the Gospel, persuading us to take the easy way, to put self first (1 Corinthians 15:33; Ephesians 5:6).
5. He speaks through circumstances, opening doors of temptation (Genesis 3:1-7)

OUR SAFEGUARDS:

1) Be Alert - 1 Peter 5:8: Wear Elohim's full Armour (testing everything with the Sword of Truth) - Ephesians 6:10-18

2) Look for Elohim's way - 1 Corinthians 10:13

3) Do Bible Study -- Remember, "be sober, watch, because your adversary the devil walks about like a roaring lion, seeking someone to devour". (1 Peter 5:8)

Whoever believes in the Son has eternal life; whoever does not obey the Son shall not see life, but the wrath of God remains on him.
John 3:36

Everyone loves to quote John 3:16, but they don't spend nearly as much time thinking about the rest of that chapter. Yes, those who believe in #yeshua will have eternal life, but v36 plainly connects belief to obedience. "Believe in him" doesn't mean to believe he existed, but to put one's full faith in him. If you believe in him, it means you believe in what he said and follow his instructions. If you don't believe what he said and obey, you can't honestly say that you believe in him. God's wrath can only be removed by a belief that leads to obedience.
