Sarah died in Hebron, which means "companionship" or "heart". A fitting location for Abraham to lose his lifelong best friend. #genesis 23:2 says that Abraham "mourned" and "wept" for Sarah. Mourning implies formal ritual, while weeping implies personal grief. Was the timing of her death (immediately after the binding of Isaac) an additional test of Abraham, to see if he would repudiate the binding of Isaac?
The word for "wept" has a small-sized letter kaf (originally a pictogram of a hand), perhaps indicating Abraham's diminished strength without Sarah. Abraham lived large in God's plan until Sarah died. Then he faded away.

I am trying to determine if this would be a good way to help engage Christians and help them study Torah.
Beginning in #ChayeiSarah, and continuing into #Toledoth (next week), we see events from the fathers' lives repeating in the sons. In fact, they make a #ChiasticStructure. I think we will see the same pattern repeat for Jacob's sons, and the people of Israel in their history. Today there is contention over Israel's resources - her land - (2C); do the Abraham Accords represent suing for peace (2B)? And what is next, but the covenant reaffirmed - in #MessiahYeshua, as He reveals Himself to His brethren. #Torah is a book of #Prophecy.
